I have a 3 year old that is obsessed with trains. No lie, he has worn this hat everyday since Christmas. The hat is soft and comfortable. Washes easily. After 3 and a half months of everyday wear and weekly washes there are no signs of wear and tear.

The whistle is sturdy and not too loud. It makes the perfect train horn sound but is quiet enough that I don't want to hide it on a regular basis.

I purchased this for my 4 yr old Grandson, it was one of his birthday presents. He looked so cute wearing the hat and scarf - the whistle makes the outfit complete. He wore the hat and scarf while playing with the train table that we also purchased. The hat and scarf are nicely made and of a good quality. I am so glad I purchased them.

This conductor 'dress up' set is adorable. The hat and bandana are very well made. The bandana is actually fastened with Velcro and has a decorative knot tied to hide that fact. It's super cute.

My only complaint, if I had to have one, is that the whistle is a little difficult to blow-(which may be a plus for some!) It may get easier with use? But I had a hard time getting it to toot. Overall I would recommend this set-it's good quality.

We bought this for our older son and it has been worn every single day for three years and held up beautifully. I will have to do a bit of sewing on the velcro on the bandana soon, but after so much use, that's not a big deal. We tried to find one of these sets for our younger son when he got old enough for the train craze but they were out of stock. We went with another brand and were SO SORRY. The bandana for the other set was a tie on, the hat was too big and flimsy, and the train whistle didn't work. Now we're back to order this one online for him. The hats fit kid heads well - from my 2 year old to my five year old and the velcro bandana is easy for both to use without having to worry about choking. The hat print also matches Osh Kosh B'Gosh train conductor overalls perfectly.

got it on sale before Christmas! Cute, sturdy ... waiting to see what the conductor will think about it on Christmas morning and what I think about the whistle by January ;-) Whole set was the $$ of just the whistle at other retailers I checked.

I have never seen any clothes item/accessory get as much use as this has in our house! My son always wants to wear his conductor ha t, he has worn it for dress up a LOT, as well as 2 years in a row to "Day Out with Thomas" events, one year I dressed him in a white T-shirt with jeans with these and he LOOKED great!! The hat AND the bandana are the best I have found YET, and we have purchased many full engineer costumes and many separate accessories, but this is FAR better quality than ANY other we have. We always come back to this hat/bandana and just change the clothes! The best little [$] we have spent! Highly recommend!
