The Savannah collection offers you this fashionably functional chest with its Pure White finish. It is well adapted to today's requirements with of its ample storage space. It features 4 practical drawers with Pure White wooden knobs and upper drawer front with exterior trim. The glides are made of polymer and include dampers and catches, creating a secure environment for little ones Also available in Espresso finish and matches most of the Pure White cribs on the market. Drawer interior dimensions : 31-1/4-inch wide by 14-1/4-inch front to back. Measures 35-1/2-inch wide by 16-3/4-inch deep by 41-1/2-inch high. It is delivered in one box measuring 46-1/4-inch by 21-inch by 8-1/4-inch and weighting 78 pounds. It is made of recycled CARB compliant laminated particle pannels. It has to be assembled by two adults. Tools are not included. 5 year limited warranty. Made in Canada.

When this product arrived it came in many pieces to put together. My husband took on the brave task, only to count the parts and realized they were missing one part in the order. I came in to take a look and calm my frustrated husband, and noticed a scratch on the very top of the dresser. Almost as if someone wrote on a piece of paper on top of the wood and accidentally carved on it. We were both disappointed. However, upon calling South Shore customer service, our opinion changed, as they quickly sent us the missing piece and a new dresser top.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

You get what you pay for. I like the look of the dresser and it is much bigger than I expected. However, for the price I didn't expect high quality, but I didn't expect the bottom of the drawers to be mat board instead of compressed wood. This dresser definately is not something that will last through childhood but works for a few years in a nursery.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
