We purchased this set for our daughter who loves Thomas! In order for them to work together, you must purchase Thomas Wooden Railway trains. We have Thomas track and mix it interchangeably with these track pieces. Since Thomas track is so expensive, I purchased this track and then added her favorite trains, Thomas, Percy, and some others. I will be purchasing more imaginarium track in the future!

my 2 yr old is a big thomas fan so his grandparents bought him this set as well as one one from imaginarium both nice sets but the thomas trians that we bought for him that they say will work with these sets will not work the track (rails) are to far apart for a thomas train.
