I bought this set specifically because I thought my daughters would like the tunnel. We already had some tracks, but no tunnel. Well, it's extremely difficult to get the track to fit into the tunnel. Then the train gets stuck every time. Very disappointing.

To begin, the set was VERY easy to assemble; I completed it in minutes. Second, the boys played with it for hours and hours; the set is a great deal of fun and encourages their imagination. We had been looking for a Thomas train with Thomas' snow plow and finally we have it. It is a very attractive set (the snow is very cute), and it is made very well - solid construction. It is also a very nice size. Lastly, the packaging is very good. I am able to put all of the pieces back in the box after every time the boys play with it. They play with it often while connecting it with other Thomas sets they own.

It was hard to set up this train set. It seems to be missing a track. I looked for it everywhere! It made it hard to connect the track. My son played with it for a minute, got frustrated and broke up the track. He had to force it together.

I bought this set along with the Deluxe Expansion Track Pack. It is a great starter set and has provided hours of enjoyment for me and my 2 3/4 year daughter. She loves the falling tree!

Given the amount of fun with this set we are adding Cranky and Flynn Save the Day Playset.

My 3 year old son got this for Christmas. He loves it. Told me it was his favorite gift from Santa. He even brought it into bed to play with. After one day of play I had to change the 1 AA battery in Thomas.
