Got this toy for my 18month old son,he loves this and he messes with this toy everyday since we got it! I am now on the hunt for more toys like this, I would definitely recommend this,warning if your son is anything like mine be prepared to constantly stack the train pieces over and over again however it's worth it so they let their building skills run wild.

bought this for my 18 month old, and she played with it all day, then woke up asking for it. She has played with it daily since. It is well made, finished edges, and has all kinds of possibilties. I looked at the Melissa and Doug train, but have been so dissappointed with their products lately, having splinters and cheaply made. This one is great! The pegs are attached by elastic, which is nice, because if your child were to fall on the toy, the peg would move. Not sure how long it will last, but a nice feature.

My 18 month son old loves this toy! He will sit and put the blocks on and take them off for quite a while. The pieces are sized just right for his hands and he is able to put the train together all by himself. The colors are great and it seems to be very durable.
