Quick, what's a beverage that has the letters "R" and "E" in the name? You've got 60 seconds. Wordplay Kids Game is fast, fun and challenging. The spinner provides 2 letters that must appear in the word. A die roll selects the word category to guide the kids along. The category could be: "Food or Drink", "Object or Thing", "Living Creature", "Something in the House", "Boy's or Girl's Name" and "Any Word". Then it's off to the races! In each round, players write down a qualifying word on their game sheet. Everybody who forms a word moves forward, but longer words give you more spaces on the board and earn more points.

This game was given to my daughter (age 9) for her birthday, and she has been having a great deal of fun playing it. She loves spinning for letters - there is eager anticipation to see what letters she'll use to build her words. Her very first game she received the letters 'K' and 'A' and was thrilled to form her name to score points. The really good thing here is that you can have many kids playing at once, each with their own game sheet. She is building her vocabulary without even realizing it -- way too busy coming up with more words all the time!
