First these toys are cool the paint job was done good on mine, reptile and scorpions alternate heads are very Detailed easy to get on if you pull and twist the attached heads. the hidden accessories are hilarious and unexpected! But i would like to get to the not so great things about them, articulation is not very good i use my toys for stop motion videos and they don't stand good, and whenever you go to move there arm or legs they fell loose. that's it i still like them but they could be better.

I was so excited when I saw 6 inch retro or "Klassic" Mortal Kombat ninja figures being sold. Not only do they bring nostalgia, but I thought they'd go great next to my other Standard 6 inch Wave 1 figures since Jazwares seems to be focusing more on their 4 inch line at the moment. I will just get this out of the way first. These figures are not the right size. Even though the description says they are 6 inches, they are actually 5 1/2 inches. Therefore, they will be smaller than the other 6 inch figures, which is a real shame. Considering the height difference, they just don't look right next to each other. Some other flaws that the figures have are flimsy legs like the 6 inch Scorpion figure had, as well as some minor paint mishaps. The eyes don't look right either. They kind of give them a "sad" expession. The accessories that come with the figures are great though. Scorpion and Reptile come with alternate heads (which are a bit hard to interchange) while all 4 figures come with "secret" accessories that fans of the older games will instantly recognize. Even though these figures aren't exactly what I hoped they'd be, they're still not half bad. I would honestly only recommend this set to long-time Mortal Kombat fans and hardcore collectors. I can't see casual collectors picking this up, considering the flaws combined with the price that Toys R Us is asking for. Not to mention they are the same figure painted 4 times over. Also, people who aren't too familiar with Mortal Kombat and never played the older games, the "secret" accessories won't make much sense to them. If you do want this set, I would say get it now while you can. In a few years, this price will be nothing compared to what it will go for later. Trust me.

Love the MK series and these toys are something I've wanted forever but in need of weapons but other than that these are pretty cool.

The figures have average paint jobs. Good articulation. Semi wobbly legs(just like the other 6in. series. Its not a horrible toy, but if you want your moneys worth buy it in the store. I saw 4 copies and each other one had a defect. Smoke had a super crooked leg and One sub-zero had a skin tone smudge on his shirt. So dont order online. I do agree that for [$] they should be perfect. But these will never be remade or reduced in price so get them if your a collector.
