Got this for my son for he's fist birthday in a sale big mistake opend it to day and it dose not work put new batters in it and still the same and the shop will not take it back as i got it 3 months befor hes birthday :( it says some words then stops dos not move at all it's like the motor dose not work big let down for my son as he seen one of thes at the nec baby event and loved playing with it then to get he's own he's face let up just to be let down by this toy BIG LET DOWN

This product was only half of what I thought it was going to be. I was really excited about buying this for my 6 month old. And he is loving this toy but even with it being on loud you can not hear what it is saying through the machine making noise when it moves. Not worth the money I spent on it and it is a shame.

This was a christmas gift for my 6 month old son. We are happy to sit and press the button to make it dance and sing for him, however, all this toy does is say "oopsie" and "uh oh". How boring is that? The toy repeats these phrases as many as 15 times before it plays an actual song or does any dancing, which does engage him. The motor is loud however, I would have been able to overlook it had the product been worthwhile in other aspects. Unfortunately, we weren't expecting such a poor product or I would have kept the box to exchange it for something else.

My daughter got this as a gift shortly after she starting clapping. The puppy is SO NOISY that I barely turn it on, because it drives me crazy. I never mind loud/noisy toys, but this noise is the squeaking of a poorly made toy. You can barely hear the songs over the gears moving inside. There are words on the hands, ears, and belly, which makes you think that you can push them and they will say or do something, but NO, you only push the feet to make the dog do anything. He's cue, and sings, but again, you can't hear what he's singing because of the mechanical noise. My daughter was scared at first because of the noise, but now she smiles a little at the dog (when I decide to play with it, which is not often). I hate that my mother wasted her money on this thing! DO NOT WASTER YOUR MONEY! There has got to be something better - maybe Elmo.

I am a huge Fisher Price fan however, they should be ashamed of themselves for selling this toy! My son has the Laugh & Learn Learning Puppy and absolutely loved it but "grew out of it", so I asked for this one for the holidays. This toy is horrible....the motor is so loud that you can hardly hear what the puppy is saying. And there are only two buttons to press (one on each foot) and they have to be continuously pressed for the toy to sound because it only does one quick song/game at a time. I wished I read the reviews on this but because my son loved the other puppy, I didn't even bother. I suggest you do not buy this toy and choose something else, anything else!

My one year old grandson loved this item. He was more interested in playing with this than opening his other presents. It was better than I expected!

I really think this is a super cute toy and glad we bout it rather than the newborn puppy of the same kind. I love how the ears raise and the hands clap and it keeps my 4mo old very entertained. She is always grabbing at the hands to hold onto them and feel their movement. I have not had any durability problems, and even enjoy it's "uh oh" comment when it's in a position it can't work. The only thing I can suggest is it plays continuously rather than do one song or comment and then wait till you press button again. This is the ONLY suggestion I think it needs. I'm really happy my 4mo old loves this and can't wait until she can interact a bit more with it.

Based on reviews I bought this for my Grandson for Christmas when I saw it go on sale earlier this year. I did some basic testing & it seemed fine but after about 10 minutes of play it started responding inconsistently. It was pulled out the next day and after a few minutes it stopped working altogether so the parents thought it must be batteries - changed batteries and still not working. Because the sale was a few months ago the return period has long since expired. At the time I wasn't concerned as Fisher Price is a brand I have always trusted but I guess I was wrong. For the short while it worked it did amuse my 6 mo Grandson but expensive for the short life of the toy and I am extremely disappointed.

I bought this for my nephew a month before Christmas and it worked fine. Time to open the present and puppy did not work. NO Power! I tried changing the batteries and nothing. So sad and disappointing, I was embaressed that I gave a dud broken toy. Had to throw him out and it was never played with. Expensive lesson to keep receipts. Not worth the money.

I bought my 9 month old daughter nothing but Fisher Price toys for Christmas. We love them all except for this puppy. The motor noise is so loud when it moves that we can't hear what it's saying. The noise scares her so much that she curls up in my lap when I push the buttons. It's a cute puppy and I think that if the motor was more quiet she would enjoy it. I trashed the box before we turned it on Christmas morning so I can't return it. It's an expensive toy to just be setting in a corner because she's too frightened to play with it.
