bought this and the police car for my 15 month old, and he loves them! I hadn't heard of them before, but he really seemed to like them at the store. Now we may be buying the coordinating garage for Christmas! My son plays with them allot, they are perfect for his little hands and he enjoys the button to push and the sounds and light it makes. So far, it has stood up well to being dropped and thrown. I like this car better than the police car, only because I find its "jingle" to be annoying...but there was no swaying him toward another-he liked these two best! Another cool toy from vtech!
