Very Detailed Set

This is a fun set to build and display. My kid has had a great time playing with it as well. It is more durable than the previous version, 4504, and I think much better detailed.

Pros:
Ship is roomy and durable. It has landing gear and a gun mounted underneath. The detail inside the ship has been improved, as has the hinges that allow the roof panels to open. The minifigs have new faces - some with two faces on each head. It includes the Newer style Darth Vader - the one with much better chest detailing. The cockpit is the same size as the older version in set 4505, and still can barely fit 2 figs if you work on it.

Cons:
Price. Very high price considering the 4504 version was much less back in the day.
The ship however is awesome, but if you like minifigures, there is nothing to see here. The minifig bodies are the same old minifigs from the past, except for Darth Vader. There is no art work on the back side of the figures, and I think this is Lego being lazy and just getting rid of old inventory. I wish they had just offered the ship and left out the tired old figures to lower the price.

Overall:
A great version of the Falcon and a must buy for any collector or original movie fan. This is the best ship in the fleet, until they make an accurrate version of the X-Wing any way.

The ship gets 5 Stars - but I have to take away 1 for the bad choice of old recycled figures and the jacked up price.

I wish the person responsible for shipping Lego Sets and other similar items would spend some money and order sturdy boxes from U-Line or other supplier and use packing peanuts instead of the air pillows. I have had to return three $100+ Lego Sets this past year because of damage to the Lego Set during shipping and transport.

Purchased for my ten year old's birthday. He attempted to put it together himself, but he ended up needing help which meant some backstepping for mom. We love that you can actually play with it once it's put together and can access the inside very well. It holds together pretty well and has been a favorite since.

My 7 year old son loves Legos, and built this on his own. He loves this set! It's pretty solid when completed, so pieces don't fall off when he's playing with it. It has over 1000 Legos that come in numbered bags, so it's not overwhelming when you open the box and start putting it together. The directions come in 2 books and it's a 100 step process to build the Millenium Falcon. It took a few days to build, but the directions are fantastic. Great product!

I bought this set because I have always loved the Falcon and I had bought earlier Lego versions that were okay, but this looked even better and it was. The flower petal technique allows for so much more play and it is ruggedly built, nothing falls off, its a solid build. Having all the characters except R2 was a bit of a loss tho.

The instructions were easy and the pieces fit together great without coming apart. I spent about 4 days putting this together. Not 4 solid days, just off and on a few hours each day with my 4.5 year old. We had so much fun helping each other! What great quality time! Now he plays with the figures that came with it and I love watching him!

I bought this for my 7 year-old son's X'mas present. It took us about 5 hours to complete, and it was his first time building one over 1000 pieces. He loves it! The Millennium Falcon is a great product from Lego. The building instructions are clear and organized. It would be even better if they had included R2D2 and/or C3PO figures with the set. I would recommend it to anyone with kids who love Lego. I ordered this online, and received it the following week--no issues with Toys R Us' online services.
