We purchased this travel system a couple months before my son was born, and we have been actively using it since he was born in July 2015. We comparison shopped some strollers at the baby store, and tested out some friends' strollers. The Graco Modes Click Connect system seemed the best choice by far, because of how practical it was. It was going to grow with our baby, and had so many configuration options, that it was never going to be a problem finding a position that worked for our baby. So.. 8 months in, and I can say that we made the right choice! For the first 4 months, we kept the chair part of the stroller in our garage and just used the frame with the infant seat: -Pros about this stage: the frame is so lightweight, it was easy for me to move it in and out of the trunk of my SUV- even while recovering from a c-section. The access to the storage compartment is unobstructed, and allowed me to carry anything and everything- as any new mom does! I can store my Jujubee BFF bag, an extra blanket, toys, my Ergo carrier and a jacket for me, with room to spare! My son would often fall asleep in the car in his infant seat, so when we arrived to our destination, we would just unclick his carseat from the base and transfer it to the stroller frame, and nap time would continue uninterrupted. We almost always faced him towards us during this stage, but around 3 months when we became more curious, there were times we would forward face his infant seat and he got a kick out of the new sightlines. -Cons about this stage: We travelled a LOT with this stroller in those first 4 months, I think it was about 4 round trip flights (some with layovers). We always gate checked our stroller, and brought the infant seat with us on the plane. I always zipped the frame into a bag to help protect it from the baggage handlers. Even with that precaution- our stroller frame became creaky and a wheel slightly wobbly after our first flight! This was very disappointing, but the integrity of the frame didn't seem to be compromised, so we continued to use it. Month 5&6: started leaving the infant seat in the car more often, and using the stroller seat (baby had good neck and trunk control) -Pros about this stage: the stroller seat has a large canopy, and helps keep baby shaded on walks. The seat reclines to multiple positions- from nearly upright to almost fully reclined (the bassinet option). You can face baby toward you, or away from you- which again is great for walks when the sun is low- if the canopy can't block the sun, i just flip the seat around and that usually does the trick. Also, when my son fell asleep in the car, we could still transfer his car seat to the stroller (you have to have the cup holder installed on the stroller for this to work). -Cons about this stage: The stroller is heavier and a little more cumbersome to move in and out of the car. Also, the 5 point harness is not well designed- you have to attach all of the pieces together every single time, which gets more and more annoying as your baby gets squirmier and squirmier. Month 7: Infant seat has been staying in the car (baby is 21 pounds and too hard to lug around). And, winter in California has been all sunshine, so we have been doing walks everyday: Pros: This stroller is standing up well to daily use- it still creaks and wobbles- but overall is still a smooth ride. We use it on walks on roadways, sidewalks, over grass at the park, and have had no issues (except with sand- do not try this in sand!). The front wheels do lock on this stroller, which does help with walks but does not make this a jogging stroller. If you are into jogging, this travel system will not meet the need you are looking for. Lastly, the material has been so easy to clean (my material is Downton) and we have no lasting stains. Cons: The cupholder/storage compartment for the parent is less than ideal. An iPhone 6 does not fit in the storage compartment, so you have to put it in one of the two cupholders instead. Month 8: We are giving up the infant seat and switching to a convertible car seat since my son is 30 inches and nearing the height limit of the Graco Click Connect seat (31 inches). I am kinda bummed that he outgrew it so quickly, and that I may not have gotten the full value of the seat, but overall I would still go back and make the same purchase again. Side notes: -Four of my pregnant friends/family have purchased this travel system after seeing how well it worked for us. My sister even returned the CityMiniGT stroller after she received it at her shower because she was comparing it to my GracoModes and was disappointed that the CityMiniGT did not even fit her diaper bag in the under stroller compartment, and that it did not have cupholders, nor did it recline as much as the Graco. -We have been so happy with this Graco product, that we purchased the Graco 4Ever car seat and are installing it this weekend. I will post a review about that after we test it out for a few weeks! -If the frame stood up better while travelling, this would be a definite 5 star review. But, the reality is that at the end of the day I still have a creaky stroller to deal with, and that costs 1 star.

My daughter is now 7 months old and have been using this combo since birth. She is my third and I have owned other Graco travel systems in the past. I loved the previous systems so I went with this one because I loved the stroller versatility. Pros: Cute colors (I get compliments everywhere we go) Daughter doesn't complain while in it (I'm assuming it's comfortable) All of the options with the stroller has been amazing! My daughter loves the stroller Huge underneath compartment Parent tray comes with two cup holders Removable childrens tray and it also has two cup holders (great if you have more kids) Has covered storage compartment on parent tray (although it's small it will hold my wallet and keys) Easy to adjust the harness on car seat Easy to clean car seat cover (machine washable) Cons: The front wheels on the stroller are unstable (they jiggle) and makes a noise when pushed (this does not interfere with the operability, just an annoyance) It is sometimes hard to click and un-click the harness on the car seat It is sometimes difficult to remove car seat from base (I've never had this problem with previous systems) I noticed her buckle is the one that was recalled on the toddler seats but not the infant seats (that I know of). I am going to contact them to see if I am able to get a replacement for that and to ask if her seat should be this difficult to remove from the base. Until then I will keep my review at 3 stars because of the cons. I am still unsure if I would recommend this system to a friend because of the car seat issues. If they were to be fixed this would be my favorite system, and would highly recommend... just not quite yet.

Amazing Stroller

Comments about Graco(R) Modes(TM) Click Connect Stroller Travel System - Albie:

When I bought this stroller 3 years ago I loved how easy and light it was to use. At the time we lived in an apartment and I needed something easy and light. Something I could pick up and put in the car with out help from my husband. Now almost 4 years later I still love this stroller. I always recommend it to anyone and have even had people stopped me to ask me about. The stroller grows with your baby. You can remove the toddler seat and just use the car seat when they are a baby. This is a plus because they always fall asleep in the car and makes it easy to get the baby and go. I love this stroller so much I just bought the double for my 3 year old and the baby that is coming.

needed new car seat at 1 yr old

Comments about Graco(R) Modes(TM) Click Connect Stroller Travel System - Albie:

Thought the toddler seat was able to be used in the car didn't realize until my child was one yr old and outgrew the infant rear facing seat and went to put the toddler seat in and realized it didn't go in the car only suitable for the stroller. This was a huge disappointment! The infant car seat was the only nice thing about this one but for the price you could get an infant car seat/stroller for less. We bought he stroller bc it was lightweight and we thought it could transition for us until she was in a booster seat. Don't buy if you have the same expectation.

Truly the only stroller I've ever needed!

Comments about Graco(R) Modes(TM) Click Connect Stroller Travel System - Albie:

I bought this travel system when I was expecting my first child who was born in January 2014. More specifically, I have the exact model/pattern from the video explaining all of the amazing features. I have since had another child who is still making use of it as an infant (10 months) and I am expecting my 3rd child in a few more months. I have used and adored this system all the way through and am excited to continue it's use with baby #3! The Click Connect feature allowing the infant carrier to detach from it's car base and attach so easily to the stroller is so fast, easy, and convenient---pick up, click in, and GO! It's beautiful! And there's no doubt (although I can't say from personal riding experience) that my children are comfortable while riding. I do regret, however, that I have neglected to make use of all 10 of the available configurations of the 3 modes but it's not too late to get my money's worth in that aspect just yet. When I was deciding on a travel system for my registry back with baby #1, I literally spent an hour and a half in the stroller section going over every single gadget of every available system that day and I just kept going back to the Click Connect. Graco is a name that is tried and true among family members and I knew before going that day, that Graco was what I was looking for. This system surpassed all others that I experimented with and drove around the store that day and I've loved it every day since. From the added features of the cup holders for both child and family, to the versatility of the seat with and without the infant carrier, to the one-handed fold up, no other system compared! It never leaves my trunk! My only disappointment I can even think of today is that the handle grip got grungy from dragging on the ground when walking with the stroller folded up and the frame squeaks from it's many years of use...but that is all minute in comparison to the bang for my buck I've gotten (and will continue to get) by choosing this product. I know with 100% positivity that I can count on Graco products to keep my children safe, secure, and in style as my family grows, but this stroller truly held up to it's claim of being the only stroller I ever needed! Thank you Graco!

Great stroller, easy to use

Comments about Graco(R) Modes(TM) Click Connect Stroller Travel System - Albie:

Stroller works great and is easy to use. It would get 5 stars but the lack of any useful product documentation holds it back. The manual tells you the minimum amount of information necessary to manipulate the stroller but that's about it. There is absolutely no information on when you should be using one configuration versus another. One of the least useful manuals I've ever seen.

Great but having issues!

Comments about Graco(R) Modes(TM) Click Connect Stroller Travel System - Albie:

We were in love with stroller for the first 6 months of our babies life. However, the wheels have been acting up, and sticking together. The bar on the bottom keeps popping out of place, and hitting the floor. Looks like a part is broken or a screw is missing out of no where. I don't drive on pot holes so not sure what the issue is. Its great beginning stroller not sure about the longevity of the product.

Comments about Graco(R) Modes(TM) Click Connect Stroller Travel System - Albie:

I searched high and low for the best travel system before my son was born, and this was spot on. I love all of the different features of the stroller, and the base that comes with the infant carseat. My son was never over heated or cramped. I am sad that at 6 months we have to move up to a big boy carseat (bigger rear facing) but I am happy to go to another Graco all in one. The stroller it self is amazing I can't tell you how happy I am with the overall product. I know my son will be able to use the stroller for years to come.
