We are currently on watch number 3. It is the third since Christmas. The battery life wears down quickly and was difficult to load "missions" from their web site. It also would not keep time unless you did a memory restore on it but doing that you lose the videos, pictures and game high scores. I have read on other web sites that the battery life was an issues which is probably why we had all the trouble we have had. We gave it one more shot to see if it works out. If not, it is back to TRUs.
It is a fun toy if it works properly.

My seven year old had it first, and he loves all aspects about it. Than we got a second one for our youngest son who was tired of trying to play with his brother's watch. They are amazing but short battery life
