    This was a gift for my son. I expected it to be about 5x as fast as it was. Did last longer than the 15 minutes but it just crawls along kinda slow and boring. My 10 year old son enjoys it enough bit he has nothing to compare it to. We brought it inside and it "seems" faster so he played with it longer...mostly terrorizing the dog. I would pass for a faster car every time.

      (this car is not a racing car its a rock crawler).I bough this product in a jeep form for my son over summer. He really liked it. although it was slow, it had torque and lots of it, wich means it can go over some pretty big rocks, weeds and gravel. its 4X4 drive so it was powerful but it was geared down so it could geo over rocks and other rough terrain. it had digital porpourtion throtle means he bould pull the trigger/controller stick half way or all the way. my son could run it in our patch of gravel in our drive-way, it became his favorite toy and mine too!

      As stated above this is not a fast car but it's a ROCK CRAWLER.. have you ever seen a fast rock crawler? this thing crawls over everything in it's path! Up and down the stairs.. My 8 yr old this!! (the other two want one) I agree you do get more than 15 mins run time.

        For [$] thought this thing would be a lot better than it was!! Not fast at all! Charged the battery for the 8 hours and tested it before we gave it to our son for Christmas, and it was so slow! I will be returning to the store. Not worth the money!

          This truck lasted over an hour after doing the recommended 8 hour initial charge. Amazing! Well over the 15 minutes stated in the instructions!
          It is a very nice starter remote control car. It does climb and is fairly fast for an inexpensive remote control truck. It is easy for the kids to control. Highly recommended for younger kids or anyone who may be starting out with remote control vehicles.
