worked for about a week and now one of the controllers stopped working. tracks are cheaply made. if you must buy one of these pay extra for the warranty.

Took a bit to put this track set together, but you can't complain when your getting SO MANY track pieces for so little money, worth the wait! For a track set of this size a hobbiest will spend atleast $300 ~ $400 real quick. If you are experiencing issues with the cars stopping at different points on the track and not starting up again... #1 make sure all track pieces are properly & tightly connected "as they can joggle themselves loose in different areas while putting the track together". #2 Take a DRY DRY DRY green scrubby "like the one on the back of your dish washing sponge an quickly scrub along the middles of the track pieces to ensure a good contact. I went even as far as scrubbing the silver wire contacts on the bottom of the cars as well. This should take care of that issue real quick. When these type of products are sitting threw different weather conditions they often form a transparent coating on the metal compoinents, a dry green scrubby used to etch into the metal just a little bit will fix this problem. As for the cars staying on the track & as another parent explained... This is a hobby, & hobbys take skill. Skill is a learned art, please encourage your child/children that it takes a whole lot of practice, but in do time they will surely get it. We don't want to tech our children to give up on things so easily, besides what fun would a toy or hobby be if all we had to do was set it up, & we already have it mastered. PRETTY BORING IF YOU ASK ME! I would definately recommend this toy, but just be careful snapping the yellow pieces on, as the track pieces are thin, and they break easily. Remeber you can change the track around to suit the age of your child as well. My 5 year old son not only gave this toy the tittle of being great. HE SAID IT'S AWESOME! his words per baitem...," Yea mom this toy is awesome, This most awesome toy ever ,and it's for 8 year olds and I'm only 5 mom! 4 stars given only because the track pieces are a bit thin, easy to break while snapping the yellow guard pieces on. Have fun, and HAPPY HOBBYING!!!

As everyone else stated cars are too fast to stay on the track.Won't hardly get past the starting line. Dead spots on tthe track as cars will go a little bit & then stop then you have to pick the car up & move it. Don't buy one they are complete junk. Got it for my sons birthday he went from very excited to very disappointed faster than these cars go.

Fun starter track for my 6 and 4 year old. Assembly took a little time 1 hour and getting the hang of it to drive successful laps for my 6year old took about 30min. My 4 year old took a bit longer but got the idea real quick that you don't pull the trigger all the way down and hold it unless you are trying to fly off the track. The cars are cheap to replace but are fast and durable considering how much they bang them up.

This track looks cool and with the high banks, loops and jumps. All three Components will leave you frustrated on how to make the cars stay on the track in these areas. You need speed for the loop but if you fail to stop before the jump its into the wall you go.

This track will only leave you and the kids pulling your hair out. The best we could do was three laps without coming off the track.

People must not understand this item. First it's not really a toy - more of a skill hobby. My son loved this gift, it was his favorite gift. It takes some time to put togethor but we played practically non-stop for days. The cars will not stay on the track until you practice driving them - that's the point. Complaining that the cars come off the track is like complaining that a remote plane crashed - you have to learn. You have to practice to get good and make it around the track and through the laps at higher speeds. This is certainly not a toy for young children. It took my son and I a good couple hours straight to get really proficient with it. We both loved it. Although the assembly is pretty long, my only one complaint is the stickers. You have to sticker the whole track and then they do not stay on well - these should be factory done. That one point is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.

This was a gift to our son that took 2+ hours to build/set-up only to be a huge dissappointment in the end. Cars will not stay on track and at times family had to duck as cars hurled through the air. When the cars did stay on the track, pieces of curbing/guard rails would fall off with each lap. It looks good, but fails horribly as a fun toy. Save yourself some headaches and DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!
