Air Protect, developed using the advanced Dorel/Kettering testing method to simulate real-life side impacts, provides greater energy absorption and head containment in the most severe impacts; where intrusion into the passenger compartment occurs. For customized safety, the easy-adjust 12-position headrest of the Essential Air properly aligns the Air Protect system with the child's head, where it's needed most. The unique internal design also allows for a higher harnessed weight range on the Essential Air, up to 65 pounds. Keeping your child secure in the internal harness system longer. With convenience features like the no-rethread harness, single-hand adjust headrest and integrated cup and snack holders, this car seat boasts the best of both safety and style.

    We needed to buy a new car seat for my son. His old seat was too narrow on the top and my 3 year old has broad shoulders. Hence, we got this car seat and he fits well in it. He loves it and so do we. It was easy to install and is very stylish! I highly suggest it to other families! Thanks to the trade in...it was affordable!
