My 2 year old has all of the Disney Princess Toddler dolls, they're so cute and she loves them. The hair is pretty and shiny, the outfits are adorable and I love that the shoes stay in place. Obviously the hair is going to get tangled up if it's played with, I mean it's inevitable. However, I keep the hair pretty and shiny by spraying it with Suave Kids detangler.

My girls love it. The hair is a bit of a mess but I read on a blog that you can use a small spray bottle and fill it with 2T. of fabric softener and the rest with water and spray it on her hair and use a wig brush to brush the tangles out. =)Works great!

Doll is adorable and the shoes actually stay on! The hair is a bit of a mess and it more corse than a barbies hair making it difficult to brush. I managed from taking out of the box to talk my 3 year old into saying she has to have it in a braid like the movie because her hair will get tripped on. so far a week later the braid is still there - redone, but still there. The crown is nice but cheap because it doesnt really stay on unless you use the rubber bands to hold it in place.

Got it on Bkack Friday so I loved the price but I would have bought it anyway probably, it's a beautiful doll and my daughter is going to love it. It's a christmas gift so she hasnt gotten it yet but she will love her new dolly!

The hair is made terribly cheap. After just a hour of playing gently with this doll it's hair was all matted.

My daughter couldn't wait to play with this doll. While the doll itself is absolutely adorable (hence the 2nd star) the hair is horrendous. From the minute it came out of the box, the hair (what there was of it...the doll is half bald) became matted and tangled. When I tried to brush the knots out, the hair started to fall out. My daughter won't even play with it anymore.

This doll is beautiful and her hair looks great but looks very nice in the store and inside the box and was once your hair is a big big mess. I am very sorry to have let my daughter spend their money on this garbage of such poor quality.

The doll is adorable and seems to be fairly well made, for a doll rated for the 3 year old. That is, everything BUT the hair. My 3 1/2 year old received this doll for Christmas and loved it immediately, right up until she tried to brush her hair with the enclosed brush. The hair is coarse and the plugs are far apart in the head. The hair pulls out easily and tangles to an almost unmanageable mess quickly with little play. The hair on Barbie dolls or the Fisher Price Snap 'n Style dolls have much softer, easier to manage hair than this doll.
I know that 3 year old children tend to be hard on their toys, and I would agree except when it comes to dolls for my daughter. She is incredibly gentle with them. THIS doll, however, is difficult for her to enjoy playing with because it messes up so easily.
I would NOT recommend this for a child that minds toys being messed up or not in good shape.

This doll is beautiful. She appears to be really well made, her dress included. The big issue here is that her hair is not the same quality. From the minute she came out of the box, her hair was tangled...REALLY tangled. My daughter is surprisingly easy on her dolls, she really babies them. Within a day of having this doll, just putting the doll in her toy stroller and various doll furniture type toys, the hair has become one massive rat's nest. The strands are so thin that brushing them is impossible. I even tried putting her hair in a braid, but it's so thick and tangled at the bottom that it wasn't possible. This doll is going back and we are getting another Journey girl. Too bad, because my daughter really wanted this doll. :-(
