Let me say this first: Toysrus has SUPER-FAST shipping! Everything I've ordered from them always arrives quickly, but this particular toy arrived TWO DAYS after I placed my order!! So, kuddos for that Toysrus!

I bought this for my son's 4th birthday. All of the ones in-store were broken, so I decided to purchase one online. I was hesitant, but my son really wanted it.

Okay, so here's what I don't like about it: The water cannon does not shoot. You press the button and the "water" just falls out, which was a big let-down. Also, When you turn the central knob with the transformers logo on it, the firehouse doesn't always "transform" well. The flippy parts get stuck a lot. The other disappointment was the Heatwave robot/firetruck. It's fine as just a firetruck, but the fact that you just turn it upside down to be a robot is kinda lame.

Having said all of that, my son seems to enjoy playing with it. I hear him in his room making up all kinds of robot dramas :) He likes the elevator and loves pressing the sound effects button. I like that it folds up!

Overall, it's not a bad toy but I don't think it's anything overly special. It could be better quality, especially for the price paid.

My boys, ages 5 and 2, both love this firehouse. They play with it everyday. The Optimus Prime voice is very much like the one on the show, The Rescue Bots. You should know, the rescue bot, Heat Wave that comes with it, does not "transform." You can stand him up on his bumper and he looks like the robot mode, but there are no moving parts. My boys don't seem to mind, though.

My 5 and 3 years old love this, they played for hours. The only down side is that the heatwave car included does not transform, but everything else is great.

We purchased this and a few transformers for my son for his 3rd birthday. He saw it on TV of course and wanted it. He honestly plays with it almost every day, which is rare. If I need to keep him busy I get this out and he will play forever with this and his other tranformers. I thought it was a littley pricey for what you got, but was very much worth every dime because he loves it!!

I purchased this for my 3 year old for Christmas. He loves anything fire trucks and loves to play with his older brothers Transformers. This gave him his own Transformer toy which was more age appropriate for him. An added bonus was it comes fully assembled. One of the few toys on Christmas morning he was able to open and play right away.

The Grandson had a great time with this and with all the features he could add his Hotwheel set that kept him entertained for most of the day.

I got this toy for 1/2 off & eveb that was too much for it. I have alreadt returned. Its not that special, most of the pieces dont move or do anything. the little spray that put out the fire is flimsy & it only comes with one guy. The only thing to do is go up & down the elevator. When changing the transformer from robot to station, it gets stuck & you have to manually push it to switch over. wasn't impressed

Got this for my son for Christmas, he loves anything about fire departments and he loves transformers, can't get much better! Plus not having to spend an hour assembling it is nice too. Seems pretty sturdy and it folds up securely to take along or store when not in use.

This was a birthday gift for my 4 year old son. He has played with it constantly since he opened it. His 2 year old sister even enjoys it. We have avoided other transformer toys do to the difficulty and frustration associated with them. This and the companion sets are a wondeful way for younger kids to have transformers as a toy option.

When my Preschooler and I went Santa shopping, we happened upon this toy and I had a hard time prying him away. You know what he's getting for Christmas! Love that you can role play with this and will get him out of his sister's dollhouses. All the accessories are reasonably priced so adding on to the set later is a plus. Will have to see how durable it is, but it is a great alternative for preschoolers that want to play with age appropriate Transformer toys.
