      I did not purchase the specific color listed on this page, but I own the solid pink colored curtains. I purchased them last year to darken my daughter's room for sleeping. The product works great! Thick material, really dims the room. (Per negative reviews, there is no such thing as a true "blackout" curtain - hanging these or any such labeled curtains up in a room will never make it completely 100% dark! Some light will always filter through, regardless of what curtains you choose - however, much less light should pass through with a "blackout" curtain. This product achieves that goal.)

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        These are totally NOT blackout curtains. They help, but not even close to blackout. I bought them because, in the summer, it's still light out when my 8 month old goes to bed and I think this makes it harder for him to accept that it's bed time! We have wood blinds on the window and they let quite a bit of light through so I thought these would help a lot. They do help a bit, and my son isn't that sensitive to the light. That's the only reason I won't return them. But they are unequivocally NOT blackout curtains and if you have a sensitive sleeper - do not get these. Also, because of the thick material, they can't be washed. Only spot treated.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            These are a waste. They simply do not block out the sun. (We were desperate and actually used garbage bags temporarily...and those worked better then these curtains). The rod is also very flimsy.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
