You are not paying for quality in this product, you are paying for name alone. The bottom, entire backside and top are cardboard sheets; The oven door doesn't stay closed on it's own, I had to add magnets; The dishes don't come pre-stamped with the Strawberry design, it comes with flat stickers that don't stay on the curves of the cups, teapot, and stockpot; The buttons that the pots and such sit on to make noise don't stay up, they pop inside and are impossible to pop back out; And the plastic rack inside the oven and the one that makes up the shelves on top aren't attached at all, they just use the force of the sides to stay in, so your overexcited child can yank them right out (and are a pain to put back in).

I am extremely disappointed with this product. Strawberry Shortcake has been my daughter's favorite (and pretty much only) cartoon since she was 6 months old, so when my husband and I saw this play-set we were excited to give it to her. Once put together, I had my doubts but I soldiered through in hopes it wasn't as cheaply made as it looked. I should have trusted my first instinct.

Bought this for my daughter at Christmas. Falls apart every time she plays with it. Should have bought the one I wanted to instead of worrying about the $.

After Santa brought this to our house, I went to put it together and the oven emblem was upside down and there were two left sides! rrrgghh!!!! Once we got one with all the pieces and pieces that had no defects, it is okay. The oven does not close very well and it's kind of annoying, but my daughter does love it.

Great little kitchen for learning and play! I buy a kitchen every year for Christmas and this one os the best yet! It matches the decor in my daughter's playroom and makes realistic noises when cooking!

This item was bought for my 4 and half year old daughter by her grandmother from their local store for Christmas. Once we got it home and put together, it's missing the oven handle.

After making a trip to the store over 100 miles round trip, we were told to un-assemble and bring back in box with receipt. It was a gift, so there is no receipt and won't fit back in box. It's not intended to be taken back apart. We went back home and made a phone call to which we were given a confirmation number and told to wait 3-5 business days for return call to see if they will even ship missing door oven handle. Still waiting on corporate to call. Hoping the missing part will be sent to me as my drive down there was a waste of my time.
It's a cute kitchen set. Very flimsy, can't be moved around or the back comes off which is made of cardboard. The burners work, whistle and all - noisy with my 2 year old as he continues to push the buttons, however both kids love this. Oven door is missing handle which makes it very hard to open oven as it sticks.
Overall cute kitchen, but not suitable for toddlers, needs to be placed in one spot. Both my toddler and preschool kids love it, but I can see it's not going to wear well as the back panel has already come off a few times and the more it comes off the flimsier it gets and does not reattach well.

I bought this toy for Christmas for my daughter, I was upset because the material was cheap and it was hard to assemble. It has a cardboard backing and top that falls off easily. The dishes are cute and my daughter enjoys playing with them. I am upset at the price and the quality of this item. I would not recommend. I will be buying a better made kitchen next year.

My daughter, who is 4, asked for this kitchen for months. She LOVES Strawberry Shortcake.I finally got it for her for Christmas. It is very cheaply made and falls apart. The oven door won't stay up, the top comes unhooked if you move it. I wouldn't dare return it because it would break her heart but I also wouldn't reccomend it.

This kitchen is extremely flimsy. The pieces don't fit together well, the oven door doesn't open unless you pull really hard, and the whole thing feel like it would come apart easily. On the other hand, my daughter loves playing with it and it is very cute.
