We weren't sure which car seat to get for our baby, but on a trip to babies R us, we found the Graco SnugRide on sale...it has worked for our daughter from the day we took her home from the hospital till she was 18 months old. We also bought the Grace stroller frame for the car seat and an additional base for our two cars. Putting her in the car rear-facing was a breeze using the latch system, and I love the fact that if she fell asleep in the car, you could put the whole seat into the stroller frame without disturbing her. The only thing was that by 18 months, even though she had exceeded the 1 year limit on the car seat, she was still under 22 lbs so we couldn't switch her to a forward-facing seat. Anyway, by then the regulations changed to be rear-facing till age 2, so we'll keep her in it till then. One thing to remember is that at 22 lbs, her legs were already exceeding the comfort of the seat. I can't imagine having the Graco 35, and having to carry the baby with the seat then.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
