I ordered this battery because the original one started to bulge from over-charging and the unplugged time of the old battery was greatly reduced. The battery came in OEM Summer Infant packaging, with the battery rated at 3.7V, 1100mAh, made in China.
The package indicates this battery is compatible with Baby Touch model 02000/02004, Slim&Secure model 02800/02804/02805, Best View model 28030/28034/28035, Secure Sight model 02040/02044.
The battery resembles the picture above so it may also be compatible with other devices. I expect the battery to last a year or more when I follow the charging instructions supplied with it. The original battery lasted about 2.5 years.

I purchased a battery for my Summer infant monitor since the low battery warning was on ant the unit would not keep working. The battery didn't fix the problem of course. When I went to your store to discuss the problem I was told that you always recommend getting the extended warranty for protection against this kind of problem. Since there was nothing you could to to correct the problem since the unit was just over a year old it was suggested I contact Summer to express my displeasure in the quality of their product. As I am sure you are aware I have yet to be contacted by Summer although I am sure they will do nothing to resolve the problem anyway. My suggetsion to you is why do you carry a product that is so shoddy it requires an extended warranty and the company has such a poor customer service program? Either include the warranty in the price of the product or don't carry it at all. Your store happens to be the end of the line for selling Summer products and our family has invested in more than one Summer product but I have finally learned my lesson. I will find a store that carries some other product and/or stands behind what they sell so I won't be out so much money for one product.

Me and My Husband bought a summer infant baby monitor and wanted to try it out before the babies came. We noticed that when the battery ran out on the hand held it took a really long time for them to charge. My mom brought me a couple of these to have charged and ready to go since we use our monitors during the day as well as at night. its good to have a few on hand it is definitely a life saver with multiples!
