I was told by the Everett, WA store manager that the Merliah doll he found at another store would take no longer than 3 days for me to receive it at my house. It took 10 days, and subsequently i did not have that doll for my granddaughter's birthday party.

My 4 year old daughter loves mermaids, loves the Barbie Mermaid Tale movie and she LOVES this Barbie! She gets bored of toys quickly but not this one! She loves it! In the pool and in the bath... She has spent a lot of time playing with this doll and it has held up extremely well. I would definitely recommend this if the little girl loves mermaids or Barbies!

This is a very creative product, the barbie mermaid tail changes to a surf board, well design, beautiful doll and works good. I thought it was going to be impossible to pull the end of the mermaid tell out, but it works just fine

My five year old got this on a trip with grandma for her birthday. She loves it and so does her 18month old sister!

I bought it to complement the movie, and the kids LOVE her. They love the surf board and its easy to convert.

Great Barbie - but found it consistently for $2-$3 less at other stores. Did not have time to return it & buy elsewhere.

My daughter received this Barbie for her birthday. Within a couple of days of playing with the doll the foot fell off because the plastic around it cracked open. I thought it was just misuse perhaps and because she was devistated I bought a second one. After some playing with it, it too has broken, in the same place. Don't buy it if your child is actually planning to play with it.

This is really great! Sure, I don't like the fact that the surfboard is attached to the tail but it's still good. BTW that one review, she just didn't know how good it really is (No offense). But overall, GOOD!

If you are looking for a hot mermaid doll, this is not it. If you were as unfortunate as us and destroyed the package opening it up, what you are stuck with is a surfing doll. The tale part has the surfboard attached to the backside and the fins hide inside and pop out (so tale cannot be separated from the surfboard). Does that seem like something a 5-6 year old would want? REALLY?What a grave disappointment to my mermaid loving daughter, and a waste of money for me. Worse yet, the doll has the same face and hair as all other barbie dolls, so without the board/mermaid ensemble, she is that 5-buck bathing suit Barbie you already have.

This is a pretty doll but I don't think its really worth [$]. The $10 mermaids are just as fun but this is the one my cousin wanted for her birthday so its the one she got. If it were not for the serf board she would not have known the difference if I got her the $10 dollar pink and blonde mermaid.
