Bought this today for a very excited 2 year old boy. Put the batteries in it, and the light on the train comes on but like the other reviews Brewster does not move, no sound of trying to mover, or anything. I will be taking this back. Now I have a very upset little boy.

Toy does not work. We put brand new batteries in control. The train moves for 3 seconds and then stops. It seems like the frequency on the remote is not strong enough to move the train. Very dissapointed 3 year old. It is a shame these toy makers can put out trash like this. Dont waste your money on this product.

Took the free gift back. Light goes on Brewster but doesn't work. The customer assistant took 3 trains off the shelf. Why do they give you a free gift knowing it won't work, Anyway I don't like remote control toys full stop!

I purchased this for my son who is almost 2, and it worked for about a week and will no longer move. This is the second one I have purchased and the first one did the same thing. Its a great concept and when it worked for the first week my son and niece loved it. So said it didn't last.

We got this free with our huge purchase of wooden Chuggington trains and sets. Ours worked with no problems!! Easy for a 2 year old to use. Works well on carpet. It is too bad that some have been having problems and hope they can fix it because this is awesome remote for the little kiddos.

Bought this train for my three year old for Christmas. He loves this toy. He loves to push it more than use the remote. This is a good buy

Bought one for grandsons for Christmas put batteries in red light came on but no go. Took it back and got another one and same thing. Very disappointed.....

As otheres have stated, my son got this for Christmas and the remote does not work, the light comes on but Brewster does not move. Called Tomy today and the are going to send a new one and picl up the old one, was told it is not a common problem but according to the reviews it is. Wondering if we are going to have the same problem with the new one.......

This was one of two things on my 4 year old's Santa wish list....he is very disappointed. In the first one, the train light comes on, but no motion. Returned to TRU and had one shipped to us b/c none in store...in second one, same story. Light in train but no motion. So upset with the frustration...wondering if that's why it was a "free gift" on some of the other purchases. Unfortunately, it wasn't a free gift for us.

My son loved this for the 3 minutes that it worked. He still loved pushing it around, but we decided to return it and get a new one. Unfortunately, we had the same problem with the second one. Like others noted, the light turns red on top of Brewster, but the remote doesn't work. We noticed that the way the remote is packaged the antenna is bent, and wondered if this may be causing a problem. I would love to get a replacement that works, because this was one of my son's favorite gifts this Christmas.
