The package was crimped at the bottom cutting through the wire to the headphones. We didn't even try them, assuming they won't work, we had purchased ear buds with the intent of using those anyway so not a big deal to us but still not what I expected to find... damage!
Otherwise, the actual cd player is fine. It was a gift for my 7 year old daughter & she operates it fine. The batteries don't last a real long time but good enough. My daughter does say it skips when she moves too much. Decent for the money I paid. I researched a lot online with various companies before setting on this one, reading reviews of them all.

My 6 year old daughter got it as a present. She loves the color and design. I love that it's only a CD player with no radio so I know for sure what she's listening to. I purchased a CD case with space for the CD player and about 20 CDs at another store, but it was hard to find.

the ear piece fell off the head set right out of the wrapper ok I have a bunch of head sets so we put a cd in it played half of a song then stopped i thought it might be the cd but it happens to all of them!!!
