This works fine as a standalone mic .... But once it is plugged into a device, it stops working completely. The only way to get it working again is to take the batteries out and then put them back in. Ridiculous. We bought one and my daughter received a second one as a gift, and neither work.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is a rating more for the shipping department for Toys R Us than the item. I ordered on Cyber Monday and still haven't gotten it (two weeks later) so it's hard to review on the actual item. They've sent TWO wrong microphones and then a FLASHLIGHT! What gives?! I wouldn't order this as the people who package orders have no idea what it is. Will take FOREVER to get to you. If I get before Christmas, it will be a Christmas miracle.
