My 6 year old son loves this. Has been playing with it non-stop. I love this, because unlike other transforming toys, he is able to do almost all of it by himself. And unlike other transforming toys, it hasn't broken within 5 minutes of trying to transform it.

The Claw Armor Megazord is definately greater than the sum of it's parts. While the Samurai Megazord is sleek and sturdy when combined the lack of the individual Zords come up short. Only the Turtle Folding Zord actually has both an individual Zord mode and emblem form. The Ape Folding Zord at the least needs an emblem mode for correct later combinations. The Dragon Folding Zord is a complete fail in Zord mode as it looks more like a stout puppy than the Japanese counterpart which is nearly twice as long. The are also missing paint applications on the emblems on most of the Zords. But again the combined form is sleek sturdy and has very stiff and clicky arm joints.

The Claw Zord is a wonderful masterpiece of its Japanese counterpart. Except for the lack of sounds and electronics this American version of the Claw Zord is an exact replica of its brother from Japan. Even the metallic sticker is included on the tail of the animal form of the Zord. The only other difference between this and the Japanese version is the legs of the Zord have metallic silver paint versus metallic chrome of his Japanese counterpart. I have no problems with the differences as the metallic silver paint on the US version has a nice pop to it.

The combination of the Samurai and Claw Megazord is a beautiful sight to behold. Although a bit top heavy and the Turtle and lack of an Ape emblem mode slightly detract from the final combined form ... I was surprised at how well the American version of the Claw Armor Megazord holds up to its Japanese counterpart.

Both Megazords are recommended (the Claw Megazord is definately the better of the 2 Megazords) but you must buy both to show what Bandai America can learn and shine in comparison to the Japanese counterparts.

Bandai just released a new GIGAZORD set at Toys R Us that has these in it and the rest of the sets to complete the gigazord.

My 8 yr old loves these Megazords. It is easy for him to put together and reconfigure as he sees fit. I was lucky enough to get it on sale and you couldn't beat the price compared to buying them separate.

my 4 year old is a power ranger fan and he loves this megasword! He even took it to bed with him on Christmas night!

My son is 7 & loves this toy. It was a bit small & pricy but my son does play with it all the time.

They were a little difficult to put together, which isn't really what you're looking for of course, but we got them together and he loved them. Played with them all day.

We bought this for our childs 5th birthday and it has been 9 months and is still one of is favorites. He tries to rearrange and figure out what else he can do. He absolutely loves this toy. He wants the other pieces to go with it. The only down fall is they are hard to find.

when i got this toy the 1st thing that came up in my head was this is a big toy but this is a big toy does not meen that it is good or bad it is good for kids and it is bad in paint apps and it is too expensive if you have the money this is a great toy for your kids
