This is so cheap!!! The screen does not stay dark the moment you draw it fades so fast as if you have erased it. I wish I would have kept the box to return the thing.

My son loves playing with the magnadoodle his child care provider has so I wanted to get him one. I thought this school bus was cute. However, the minute I took it out of the box I was worried he would break it. My son is HARD on toys and after one evening of watching him play with it I took it back. Maybe if you have a calm child who doesn't drop or throw things this might work but really it was not good quality. I got something else.

Purchased this yesterday and I will be returning it. Another family member who is staying with us received the Fisher Price one in Red and Blue for Christmas. Well my 3 year old loves it so we went to buy him one. The store only had the Fisher Price in PINK, so I decided to get this one because he loves School busses and it had 3 stamps and was a little smaller for his size.
Mistake. It is flimsy and cheaply made. The area to write on is not as dark as the other doodler we have. But the most important thing is HE CAN'T erase. The slider to erase is a small metal piece with plastic underneath. The paper from the drawing area was hanging over the area that slides, so I could barely move the slider when I opened it. It was hard for me and after doing it over and over – hoping it would loosen up, it did NOT. My son went to play today with it. He turned it upside down on the floor and using both hands yelled "I did it" but he only moved it half way and he had to turn it upside down to use the backside of the slider to erase. Stick with the Fisher Price. This one is getting returned and I may write the company. Even if the slider was easier to move, the handle to move it is not for a 3 year old. Also I know it will be broken soon if we did keep it, because it is very flimsy.

I ordered this MagnaDoodle for my son because he loves his sister's Fisher Price doodler. Should have ordered the same one as his sister! The plastic shell is really thin. The screen on this one is kind of flimsy and hard for him to reset. The shaped magnets are tiny and hard for him to control. As rough as my kids can be on toys, I'm sure it will be broken within the month.
