We had 1 of these for years in my son's room and when the light started going out we bought a new one (even got on sale, a great deal) and works great (just like the previous one)! Extremely happy with this purchase! Have never had any problem with this and is a great night light :)

Amazing...it looks like the moon is in the wall!! I love that you can change the moon cycle! very realistic, my 4 year old son love this and that he can hold the controller and change the moon from his bed :)

I purchased this for my 2 year old for Christmas. He loves the moon and stars so I thought it would be the perfect gift. It is awesome and he loves it. When it's his bedtime he loves turning on his moon. It's nice the it goes through all the phases of the moon and turns off after 20 minutes. The only thing I did not like is that it can only be controlled with the remote. Really hoping we don't lose it!

This moon light is absolutely brilliant. I use it for a nightlight for my 5 year old at bedtime. It is bright enough for him to feel safe while not being too blinding. You can set the moon on whichever level that you prefer ... from a tiny crescent slither to a full moon .. obviously the full moon is the brighter. The light goes out slowly over about twenty minutes, gradually going from the full moon to the narrow crescent every five minutes. The moon pattern is very realistic looking too. Then there is a remote so my son can put it on in the middle of the night if he needs to go to the toilet. The moon runs on batteries and they last very well .. quite a few months before you have to change them. As the batteries wear out, the light gets dimmer, so you will easily know when it is time to change the batteries. You can also wall mount the moon anywhere without having ugly or dangerous trailing wires. There are other brands of light up moons but they are not as big or bright as this brand - and they also do a light up planet earth if you are doing a space/planet themed room. Highly recommended !!!

We gave this to our 4 year old son as a Christmas gift a few days ago and so far it seems to be a nice product. It works just fine and the brightness of the light seems about right for a kids room. Our son likes it. I like the remote and auto shut-off feature so it doesn't stay on all night. Having just bought the product I can't speak yet to its battery life or durability. It would have been nice if it would have included some educational information about the moon and its phases, but we can find that information elsewhere.

My kids LOVE this product. It has inspired my 6 year old to follow the "real" phases of the moon. It's also a great night light!

I purchased several of these moons for my nephews and once opened the boys seemed excited to hang it up right away. Many of the boys I purchased this for had also learned about the moon recently and found this to be a nice way to add the moon right into their bedrooms. It came with a remote which was a very nice feature but based on the website I did not have the right amount of batteries (it uses both AA & AAA). I liked that there were several different light up features that created full moons, half moons, etc.
I would recommend this product for both boys and girls.

My little one loves moon, so I was looking for something related to that and this was a perfect gift for her for Christmas, she enjoys seeing the night light effect and thinks the moon is in her room now! Only thing it works with battery, so cannot use it continuously.
