                I purchased this drum pad because of the cheap cost and the fact that it seemed age appropriate for my 8 year old daughter who is intent on her desire to experience the drums. We played with it for an hour and she has not touched it since. One could tap the drum sticks on the table for a better sound.I think the drum sticks are the best part of this product.

                Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                      I purchased two drum pads for my sons ages 6 & 3. The six year old is getting frustrated because the drum volume does not get as loud as the rhythm samples, therefore the drums can't be heard unless it is played alone (and he is a serious drummer!)

                      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
