I used this product to learn how to play. For the first three months it was alright. But after those three months the guitar would detune every 5 mins. I got new string, and it was better for only a month or two. Afterwords the bridge got wroser and wroser and it kept getting wroser. It did have good look but not a good guitar.

My 6-year old son received this as a Christmas present. This was a hit!! He loves it! We had purchased him an acoustic guitar in the past and he had a hard time holding and playing it while standing up. So, when we purchased this guitar, we also bought the drum stool from First Act and it worked perfectly for him to sit down and play his new electric guitar.

The amp is pretty small, and it runs on batteries, but, for a 6-year old, it does the trick.

We have no regrets in the purchase...well, maybe a small regret...ELECTRIC GUITAR at 7:00 in the morning is sometimes hard to take :-).

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This guitar was on sale and came with the mini amp that puts out quite a lot of sound. It is solid and my 6 year old son loves to play it. He's just getting started and has wanted a guiter since he was 4. I would have got it sooner or later and seeing how it was on sale and had an amp made it worth it.

Seems fine for the 'ankle biters' to get their feet wet for first exposure to the greatest instrment in the world. Learning relativity of the strings (EADGBE), and that they all ascend the same...E,F,F#,G,G#,A,A#,B,C,C#,D,D#....12th fret is same as open string and the ascention just repeats/continues each fret from there on up. For those about to Rock...We salute u. May want to check out the Zakk Wylde 3/4 size bullseye & V tho. Search it out online.
