Really great how the food that comes with it slides through and the register says how much the item is and the child practices counting coins or can slide their credit card. The bad part is that the coins get jammed and takes some banging and shaking to get them unstuck.

My grandchildren love to play with cash registers and this one has both coins and food to scan. It counts the coins as they are inserted and identifies the foods as they are scanned. There are three modes of play in both English and Spanish modes of speech. It's a cute toy and they love playing with it.

My 2-year old son got it for his birthday and the quality is poor. He loves playing with it, but the coins keep getting stuck in the slot and I have to jiggle them out with a butter knife. This happens about every 2 minutes... And, of course, my son then loses interest...
