    spend a little more and get these

    I love using these to store and freeze my homemade baby food. Do not get the Babies R Us brand they sell in the stores- they probably aren't listed online for a reason. I bought those first and they pop open and spill or create freezer burn, completely useless for sending to daycare. These lids seal nicely so I never have to worry about them opening and spilling or ruining food. I use both this bigger size and the oxo 2 ounce size. I definitely wish I'd gone with these from the start.

      I purchased these OXO 4oz "baby blocks" to have on-the-go containers in which to store my homemade baby food. I'm very pleased with this purchase! Not only are they very sturdy containers, but they hold a good amount of pureed baby food.

      I generally will pop two ice cubes of frozen baby food into one of these containers and stick it in the fridge overnight to thaw out for the next day. What's nice is that I can pull them out of the fridge in the morning, throw them into my diaper bag if we'll be out and about that day, and I know they'll be safe (they don't leak and there's no danger of them cracking if they get banged around in my bag, as a glass container might.)

      These were exactly what I was looking for & I can see myself using them to store various things even beyond my baby food making days.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Very stable! They don't crack in the freezer! I've had so many that have broken on me because of that, and these look good as new since day 1. The size is large enough for what I need. They work great in both the freezer and fridge and even the microwave!
