I think this has too many small parts even for the older child. I had a difficult time putting this together. I had to look on the picture on the box. The directions are in pictures it did not help me. I did not know where to put some stickers. The only thing I am glad of is that this is a take along and I could put the parts in the school. But I know that eventually the parts will be lost.

Comments about Playmobil Take Along School:

Very compact and standard Playmobil: clever designs, lot of small parts (I use a small plastic box for storage amd just put that inside the schoolhouse), very cute with nifty details. I would say this is slightly better than average for the company in that it is self-contained, provides storage for all the pieces, and required significantly less assembly than other Playmobil sets. I have yet to regret any Playmobil purchase.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Excellent Playmobil toy- my kids (son -5, daughter-3) have been playing together really nicely with this toy. Lets them play pretend & work through issues with school (like drop-off & making new friends). Comes with a nice amount of figures & accessories. And the easiest thing for me was that it didn't need much assembly- they could play with most of it right out of the box. Doens't take up that much room & folds up well for storage. The school doors open and close. You can write on the chalkboard with the white pencil that is included. Oh, and love the little basketball hoop & basketball on the outside of the school! Also, priced really well for Playmobil!!!!!!

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
