This product sounds way cooler than what it is. I bought this for my eight year old, not super impressed. May be better for younger kids.

This toy can be a lot of fun. My daughter loves it and so do her cousins. The pictures are pretty good pictures and the sound effects are good also. The 3-D glasses that come with it are fairly small, but my child is 7 so they fit her. There are only 8 or 9 pictures to look at. It would be nice if there were a way to add more, but the kids don't seem to care. Overall, the toy seems to be worth the money so far.

I bought this for my 4 year old son, for Christmas. I was a little worried about it being too hard for him to use but he doesn't seem to have too hard of a time. The only difficulty that he has is with the ring that you have to turn to change the firework design. It's a bit tough to turn. Other than that, which is mostly a complaint of mine since I have to continuously turn it for him, he absolutely loves this toy. In fact, his cousin (also 4) came over for a play date this past weekend and, once the sun went down, they had all the lights in the house off so they could do the fireworks.

I would say that this is a toy for younger kids, as they get excited about things that are colorful, light up and/or glow. It's fairly inexpensive, yet it is really neat. I just wish there were an option to turn the sound off, which I did not find. It's not really that bad though.

I actually told my nephew that I would buy him one for his birthday, after seeing how much he liked it too.

Sounds were good but couldn't tell about the projection of the fireworks.
The light show wouldn't work unless it was turned off then back on, and then it only worked at that time only for a few seconds.
I would have had a disappointed grandson if I had not tested it before hand.

I thought the fireworks would look more realistic. It's literally just a light with really cheesy popping noises. My 8 year old seems to like it, but since she didn't pick it out her hopes weren't as high as mine.

The toy did not perform as I believed it would from the product photos and description. It is still entertaining, but overall, I am disappointed with this product. I expected the firework projections to be more realistic. I guess you get what you pay for.

Fresh out of the box the toy didn't work as described. For the cost I expected more than this. The sound affects are good but the 3D effects were terrible and the overall function was disappointing. Even though it was rated for 6+ I could see this being a lot more fun for a child no older than 6 years. My son was excited until he actually tried it. Then I could see the disappointment. Don't get this for an older child they will throw it in the corner with all the other misfit toys.

My 11 yr old daughter loved this toy but not as much as my 5 yr old grandson. The night we got them we had a "Dark Party" when we went to bed. It was so much fun...was better after we got the coordination down of the sounds, fireworks etc. We really didn't use the 3D glasses but instead shown the fireworks on my rotating ceiling fan...was really cool! The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is that we have had this toy for about a month and have only used it 2 times. My grandson brought his home and uses it more often, maybe it's better suited for a younger child.
