product itself is not as described. All it contains are pictures that have been published in mag. and newspapers. I guess there is some kind of 3D function but kind of hard to tell that when the glasses are missing, not sold in stores and no one from the company will even responde to e-mails or phone calls.

The product is easy to use. It has a simple design. It is definitely overpriced. I paid [$], but i would prefer to buy it for cheaper (max $20). I guess the price is high because the toy has a 3D function and variety of slides.

Very neat and realistic. Even looks good without 3-D glasses if they are lost or want to go to sleep with it on. Of course the 3D glasses make it look much cooler.

Child got this for Christmas and loves it, BUT this product is unbelievably cheaply made and is over-hyped on the marketing. The product description promises constellations, stars and planets can all be viewed. Yeah, if 8 pictures total count while rotating through a wheel on an unsecure base. It's basically the old "view master" idea (only poorly re-made) on a piece of plastic.

The projector is in a ball which is supposed to fit into a slot allowing the projector to move to either wall or ceiling. However, the base is so poor in design that the projector slips on the base whether it is being touched or not. Eventually, the viewer must either hold the projector in their hands or hold it securely to the base to advance to the next picture. The slides have some 3-D appeal but are fuzzy except in the middle and as there are only 4 generic planet and nebula pictures without labels so kids are left wondering what it is they've just seen.

Additionally, the batteries are very awkwardly placed, there are no supplementary materials explaining any aspect of astronomy or what is being viewed, and if there is more than one child or viewer, the 3-D glasses must be passed around as we couldn't find any available at the toy store. That said, our child enjoys the slide show but is already bored with the 8 pictures and the product's very limited abilities and exasperated that the projector won't stay put in the base. As a parent, I'm sorry we spent money on this. So, we won't be buying more or the "Pro" edition from this manufacturer as they seem so careless in design and product execution. Better to find other products to augment your child's fascination or just to take them outside to see the real thing.

This product is cheaply made, and has a few design issues. First the device prefers to be only 4-6' away from wall or ceiling. This makes for a small image. When using the base for holding the projector it always wants too fall down forcing you to hold the projector. Everything about the device suggests a 10 dollar price tag, but we all know it is 3 times that. When trying to see the constellations with the 3d glasses. The all seem too bunched together and too busy. You are not able to see what you expect.(constellation). I will never buy another uncle Milton product.(cheap junk)

Was searching for a star projector that would show a field of stars with constellations across a ceiling and or walls for my kid's bedroom. This is NOT that type of projector. This only displays a four foot diameter image of a couple slides built into the unit. That's it. Very uninteresting. Certainly NOT worth thirty maybe 5-10 at most.

This is a very awesome star theater. 3D glasses do work. The images look really cool in 3D. My son loves this! I wish this was around when I was a kid. Only down fall is it runs on batteries. As long as you don't endlessly leave it turned on you won't run threw batteries quick. You get your monies worth with this.Works best when shown on a light color background.
