We registered for two swings but ended up going with this one because we thought it was the most high tech design. It didn't end up working out for us. We have a very alert little one and she needs to be entertained, the swing does not come with much to add to keep her going for more than 2-3 minutes. I feel they could have done something instead of the canopy to engage her.

I am sure this is a great swing if you are using it to put baby to sleep/soothe them but if you want something that does more than this, I would go with another product.

There is not a thing I'd change about this swing. We've been using it since we came home from the hospital when my son was less than 48 hours old, and he's still comfortable at 12 weeks. My favorite thing is that the cradle detaches. For one, you can put the car seat in its place when baby is sound asleep after a car ride and you'd like him to nap a little longer. Second, my son does not like to sleep flat on his back, as he has reflux. The only way he'll sleep in his crib is in the swing cradle. It's very sturdy and safe. I'm so glad we went with this swing!

This swing keeps my two month old baby boy happy everyday. He uses speed number one and ocean sounds. I bought a clip on mobile and this keeps him busy for hours. I like that the swing can go side to side or front to back. Does not take up that much space and it has a classy design. My friend visited with her 4 month old and after using mine she got right online and ordered one for her baby too.

This swing really looks great but I think there motor issues with them. My cousin had her swing and replaced a motor within 1year. I only have had my 9 months and its not working very well and the motor is starting to sound very loud. And the worst part is I probably only used it 10 times.

I bought this swing with my last baby and it was a lifesaver, he lived in it. Now that we are expecting again I am buying it for a 2nd time. Love the new look too, the fabric is better quality this time. I had the bear model last time and had no problems.

I bought this swing almost 3 years ago and it has been through 2 babies now. It is still working and still in one peice, unlike a lot of other baby items I have bought.
I do wish the seat reclined a little more, b ut we would take the seat completely off and use our car seat on this swing base when they were really little, then use the swing seat when they got a little bigger. I love that the seat can come off and it vibrates so we have used it on the living room floor when I have to clean up or be in a seperate room than the swing.
I also LOVE the fact that you can plug it in, but it can also take batteries, just in case. Overall, a great swing.

This soother was AMAZING the three or for times that it worked. My son was born 9 lbs, 2 oz. This swing's motor was really noisy and would get stuck every few minutes, needing a gentle push to get it started again. After a few uses it stopped working altogether. It turns out, the moving parts are plastic and they bend, causing the movement to halt, which would always upset my son.

Pros:
When it works, to movement seems to be incredibly soothing.
The loud motor is great white noise.
The tiny speaker produces great sound quality.
The lullabies and sounds are beautiful.

Cons:
I'm not sure if it's because of his size, but the motor didn't work well.
The motor was really loud.
The motor is plastic.
The speaker is pointed at baby's head, so it's easy to make it too loud for him.

I traded in a used snug swing that my son loved but was missing the tray. My son spent hours rocking in that but he only spends 15 mins before he's bored with this. I believe it's because the swing doesn't actually swing or rock but rather it sways him. I dont have a graco carseat so can't comment on the carseat feature. I do love how quiet this motor is. You can hardly hear it. The mp3 feature is nice since we get tired of hearing lullabys all the time on all the toys. I do like how it takes batteries or can plug in.

I can't say enough good things about this swing! it is a LIFESAVER! when my son was born i put him in the regular swing that i had used with all of my other kids and he hated it! would not stay in it more than 2 minutes. i bought this swing and at first he didn't like it either but then i took the swing seat off and attached his carseat to it and he was in heaven!!! he loves to sway side to side and he's out in no time! i think right now he prefers his carseat bc he fits snugger in there, the regular swing seat is a bit roomy for a newborn. but i'm sure once he gets a little bigger and has more control over his head, he'll love the regular seat! with 4 other kids running around i needed a place that my baby was comfortable in while i tended to the other ones. LOVE LOVE LOVE this swing!!!

I bought this new at Babies R Us and have loved it since I brought it home. We have 3 other kids so I loved the hood that you could pull up for privacy, we also put a blanket over it for darkness/quiet. The motor is the quietest that I've seen on any swing, however ours decided after 2+ months of use that full speed was the only speed no matter what you set it on...it could have even been faster than full speed. I don't know, we keep the speed on 2-3. I also didn't like the fact that my baby would slump over because there's no support. The headrest is almost completely flat, so it doesn't really do much either. Also, there is almost zero padding in this swing. I also wish it would recline more for newborns. With all of this being said, my baby LOVES his swing. He's been sleeping in it for 3 months now, and wants nothing to do with his bassinet, or anything else. I love that you can put the carseat in it, however I have a Chicco carseat, so I don't get to use that function. Also love that you can hook up your mp3 player or cell phone to play music. Since I have the extra tower, I'm thinking of just putting it somewhere as a music player. Also, Graco was very easy to work with as far as getting a replacement motor for my swing. They shipped it out the same day that I called.
