The Rockmaster Guitar Stage Pack is Peavey's most affordable guitar pack with an awesome gloss black finish on a basswood body which provides excellent balance and tone. The maple neck and rosewood fretboard enable fast rhythm and lead playing. The sealed tuner gears and adjustable bridge keep your guitar in tune longer. The pack comes with everything you need to get started, including a GT-5 amplifier, cable, strap, stand, digital tuner, picks, extra strings and an award-winning training DVD. The GT-5 amplifier features an MP3 input to allow you play along with your favorite songs.

    my son got this as a gift he likes playing it
    and it was worth the price for all you get with it
    but they forget to package everything so you may have to send back for something

      We gave this to our nephew for Christams. It comes with everything you could possible need to get started...the guitar, amp, cords, pics, instructional DVD, a stand and a strap!! He was THRILLED!! And his parents did not need to follow up and buy anything to go with it, although we may grab him some head phones so he can listen and play without keeping his baby sister awake!!

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          This is a great beginning product. An adult will need to help a child (with the insrutructional DVD) that has no experience with guitars. It goes a little fast. The only thing missing would be to have an instructional book that goes with the DVD because sometimes it is just easier to have it written down! The guitar itself is really nice and impressive. We have had trouble tuning it because we are inexperienced. Overall. worth the money and he has had a lot of fun.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
