Comments about MEGA Brands 1011214 Mega Bloks Need for Speed - Custom Garage (95720):

Ok so... if anyone is wondering, the halo figures do not fit in the car. In fact once built, the car is just a solid piece of plastic, there are no functioning windows, doors, seats, etc of any kind, there are no clear pieces either, the whole thing is red plastic and anything black or silver is just painted on. The sunroof is just ridiculous, its just a flat red piece painted black, it doesn't pivot or anything, just snaps into the roof.... why didn't they just make it part of the roof to begin with. Its really weird. The wheels and tires are nice with the removeable cross drilled rotors but, BOTH SETS are cross drilled so I don't see a point in the feature. Maybe if it came with a set olf slotted rotors it'd make sense. The "silver" rims aren't really silver, they're more of a dull light gray.

However I didn't buy this really for the car, I wanted the actual garage pieces for a project and those are actually great.

Scale is a different issue though. FYI the toolbox is HUGE in relation to the car. Its bigger than the (what are preumeably 18"-20") rims....and the extinguisher,... let's just say when you put the peripherals next to the car it looks a bit silly.

Bottom line is, it's not worth the price wait till it goes on clearance a second time, i'd say its only really worth about $15. Maybe even less.

In all fairness the car LOOKS good when assembled but that's about it. It'll roll around but there isn't really any other way to build it into a functioning piece. I mean, the whole point of blocks is completely ignored with the design.
