This car could not be any cuter, more functional or well built. My daughter (age 6) ordered this car with her own Christmas spending money mostly because it looked so cute in the photos. We did NOT read any descriptions and so were so pleasantly surprised to find all the neat features that come with it: the attachable carseat for a baby critter, the food tray tables that attach to the back of the seats and most especially the pull out picnic table on the front bumper. I highly recommend this car!

I am delighted to see that despite several years of regular play between 6 kids age 9 on down, that this car is still rolling along unscathed. It's beautiful, no scratches, no cracks. The same cannot be said about our 'Loving Family' car by Mattel. That one is falling apart. This one is re-sellable even! I think it's all about the quality of plastic. Lego also costs a LOT, but the pieces are a higher quality plastic than the Megan Bloks plastic, which don't snap together as well and actually break. Our Lego is outlasting our Mega Bloks, and our Calico Critters cars are outlasting our Lalaloopsy bus and our Mattel cars. You get what you pay for apparently.

Have some 4" BJD dolls that love this little car and its accoutrements. Its almost a tight fit as their hair pokes up thru the open top but its a great scale for them. Love the color and the accessories. The Green Cruiser that Calico Critters sells on its site is cute too but not as nice as this, since Green doesnt have a working trunk.
would be more fun if the front wheels would turn so it can go round corners and if the doors would open, especially at this price!

Very expensive for a plastic car with no critters. Although it does say that not all accessories are included, the price and closed box let you expect more.

My daughter likes the car, but now wants the critters. Way overpriced.

My almost 5 year old loves the cherry cruiser. She plays with her calico critters every day. The car is very cute and she can get the critters in easily. She doesn't bother to make them bend into a seated position and they still travel just fine. Two things that I wish were different are that the doors do not open and the trunk is very clumsy in getting it to close correctly. It's difficult even for me at times. However, the picnic table and food items are very cute. All of the little pieces can fit into the trunk. Would recommend this for any calico critters to head out to the beach, the store or on vacation!

This started out at [$]and they kept raising the price. Calico Critters sell a convertible green car that comes with critters @ [$]much cheaper considering it has critters. ToysRUs kept raising the price! All the Calico Critters pricing is higher and then they "put in on sale." Please how stupid do you think we are??
