    This is one of the best costume pieces I ever purchased for my son! We purchased this for my then 6 year old son ( almost 8 now). It is very well made and has resisted ripping, staining & snagging. It has a nice soft flow and movement when worn. The wide collar has a wide velcro closure at front, it is completely lined and has trimmed edges. The collar & trim are a silver metallic fabric. The "chain mail" part is a darker solid pewter color and the fabric has a herringbone type weave. After almost 2 years of frequent wear the only real worn areas are to the places when the velcro has tried to stick to the Metalic collar and an odd string here and there. The chain mail part has stayed in tact which is a mior miricle and why I am writing this. My son has even worn this mounted (on our Walking horse)and looked amazing. I just wish it came in a second color for playmates/sibs.

      I purchased all Imaginarium Products for a grandchilds birthday. Never having seen them in person and no reviews available I was hoping for the best. The Cape, the swords and shields far exceeded my expectations. The cape is awesome. A little big on the 2 year old, pretty good for the 4 year old. It would be perfect on 6-10. Good quality, looks so real. The swords and shields are truly beautifully colored and good quality, without being hard enough to hurt each other. The shields by this company have easy velcro adjustment and gives little hands an easy place to hold on. These are great products and very well made.

        The fabric they used gives a realistic chainmail look to the cape. It's the perfect costume for my son to play the role of Prince or Knight when his sister wants to dress up as a Princess. They really enjoy role playing with this cape.

            my grandson scanned a cape. I ordered it. The one he scanned was different than the one shown on the order. The same thing happened with my granddaughter's costume. The store in Durham NC has what they want but when scanned a different one shows up to order
