We purchased this dresser after picking up the coordinating crib. I can not express how happy I am with how well it is put together. It is one solid dresser, it came as one piece pre-assembled (just popped it out of the box, attached the legs and it was done), the shipping box was amazingly large and well packed. At first I was concerned that the drawers would slide out easily as there were not any drawer stops but after placing items in the drawers we discovered that the glides use a counterweight to keep the drawers in place. This a lovely idea allowing the drawers to stay on their tracks and allowing for ease of opening and closing. The drawers are finished in wood and are deep and wide. I am not sure what the other reviewer was talking about in regards to plastic bottoms as this complete dresser is made out of wood.

We have been very pleased by the look and style of this dresser and how well the harvest oak dresser coordinates with the palisades crib. The only down side was we had to order this dresser at our local store to get an extra 20% off the sale price then pick it up in another town (about an hour and a half away) as Babies R Us was no longer shipping to our local store. We understood this when ordering the dresser and borrowed a truck and made a day out of it. The store in Concord, NC was amazingly sweet in contacting us when the dresser arrived (less than 3 days) and assisting us with loading the dresser into the back of the truck.

The only thing that would have worked out better would have been the delivery to our town. Overall very happy with the experience, product, ease of ordering, and quality.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
