I installed this car seat into my 2007 Nissan Murano, without any issues. This was after having to return two carseats (Cosco and Graco brands), due to "complexity" of the installation and the fact that I couldn't get that carset to strap securely into my back seat.
After seeing how well this carseat works for my (two year old) daughter and myself, I purchased two more. One for my husband's car (Toyota Camary) and my MIL's car (compact). The car seat installed easily and securely in those cars as well.
To boot, the padding removes easily and is machine washable. And the carseat itself is easy to clean.
But the biggest pro to this car seat is its safety. I was recently involved in a car accident, where my Murano was totalled. We were rearended on the freeway, the car spun, left freeway and went down an embankment (crashing into stuff in the embankment). Crossed another road at the bottom of the embankment. Hit a tree. Spun some more. The stopped. That carseat didn't move ONE inch. And my daughter was safe and sound. (Although my husband and I sustained injuries.) That car seat saved my daughter's life and kept her from injury! As of right now, I am in the process of buying another one for my new car. I highly recommend that you buy this carseat as well.

The only con to this car seat is that it's a little bulky (compared to some others). I bought the biggest car seat travel bag that I could find. But I still have to remove the padding (around the edges) for the car seat to fit in it.

I bought this seat because it was wide, soft, and seemed comfortable. My son was a bit of a chunker as a baby and after he out grew his infant seat we used this. Hes now lengthened and fixing the straps is a breeze! using the latch strap to tighen is really hard, but i just use the seat belt. its tighter. ->it washes well too! it rearfaced great! great recline! by kid can sleep and not slump over! it would be hard to rear face in a car, we use a mini van so there was lots of room behind the seat.

I had called the closest Toys R Us store to see if this and another seat were in stock, and was told they were. I drove for over an hour to find that only 1 of the seats was, and this one was not. Had it been, I highly doubt I would have purchased it. Don't get me wrong, the seat appears comfortable, and although a tad tricky to initally install, seems to be a secure device. My problem is with the 3 position recline (or lack there of). There is virtually NO recline postion when the seat is rear facing, just what I would clasify as "tilted", "upright", and "ridiculously upright". Very disappointing. Like I said, if I had been able to see this seat in person, I would have gone with the other model I was checking out. I am sure that as my son gets older and becomes front facing, the seat will be more practical.

My son is a big boy, he is 7-1/2 mos and is 21 lbs so his infant car seat had to go. We had first purchased a Safety 1st convertible car seat but it was so bad, we could not get it tight in the car and it was very difficult to get my son in or out of... so it went back. After trying my son out in the car seats that I had liked in the store, I ended up getting this one. I love it, my son sits in it just right, it is high where he can look out the window, easy to get him in and out of... my only thing is is that to anyone with a smaller vehicle this would not be a smart choice for a rear facing seat. The seat is bulky that is its one down fall.

We honestly haven't used this car seat yet, as our son is still in the infant carrier. I saw it was on sale and decided to buy it, being proactive. We did install it in my husband's 2001 F-150 truck to be sure it fit (he has a small extended cab for the back seat) and it did fit rear-facing just fine. We put the baby in it just for fun and he seemed very happy and comfortable. I ordered two, one for each vehicle.

We bought this car seat because it was on a sale for a great price. Installing it was a pain in the butt and I felt like it wouldn't ever get tight enough. It seemed unsafe! Making the straps loose and tight was also a pain and there was no convenient placement of the release buttons. We tried it for a week and hated it so much my husband said, "Let's get this thing out of our lives forever!" - So we're returning it! I'm bummed it didn't work out because the price was right!

This seat is big but it is so comfy for my 1 year old. He loves it. He always falls asleep and is very comfortable. I am so happy with this purchase.

The seat looked very comfortable, and it was available for an affordable price. It was easy enough to install using my husband's seat belt, but when he put my 1.5 year old in it, she was extremely uncomfortable, she couldn't sit up straight in the seat. According to my husband, she was sitting practically at a 30 degree angle. So, I will be returning it, unfortunately.

My grandson loves this carseat-he sits up high and the sides have padding for the side of the head--he sits in this like a king.....

The seat is bulky and hard to handle. In addition, it will be a nightmare in the summers when temps hit over 100 degrees because it's so thick and bulky. It hangs over the seat of my 2009 Murano....
