Description

gDiapers Cloth liners add convenience to cloth diapering. Cloth liners are flushable and perfectly sized to lay on top of gDiapers Cloth inserts (sold separately). They capture the poopy mess while the wetness passes through to be absorbed by the cloth. No more rinsing out messy diapers. Flush the cloth liner and put poop in the toilet, where it belongs. gDiapers Cloth liners are soft and gentle on baby's sensitive skin. Breathable, hypoallergenic, dye-free and fragrance-free. And Cloth liners are interfolded in a cute box, instead of a roll, to make cloth diaper changes fast and convenient. 105 ct.

Flushable and Biodegradable.
This product passes INDA/EDANA flushability guidelines as well as ISO 14851 biodegradability guidelines under aqueous aerobic conditions by a third party independent lab.

Ingredients: gDiapers Cloth liners are made of 98% cellulose and 2% biocomponent

So pleased to discover this product! Been looking for a solution to make cloth diapering easier and less messy, and this is it! While the texture is a little rough or paper-like, neither my 2-year old nor my newborn seem to be bothered by them... they hold 99% of the solid mess and make rinsing liners sooooo easy! I use gDiapers primarily, but I also use some econobums and bumGenius-es... They fit and work with each of those great, too! And, in my opinion, the best part is that they are soooo inexpensive! I was debating buying one of those diaper sprayers for $45.... So glad I didn't! This is a much easier step, and just as good for the planet. :) I highly recommend this product!!

These liners are very stiff and not soft at all. I didn't even know the different until I happened across another brand of liners - Bummis. These gdiaper liners feel like notebook paper compared to the other brand. I don't feel comfortable having them rubbing against my baby's skin. Would not recommend.

These liners do pretty well at protecting our cloth gDiaper inserts from poops. That said, we try to avoid the cloth inserts when we 'expect' a poop and use the disposable inserts instead, since those seem to do a better job overall in minimizing messes.

These are awful. I bought these and used maybe 5 and got rid of them. They're so coarse on the babie's rear end, don't believe me? Put some on your bum yourself first! They're rougher than stiff dryer sheets. luckily my little one wasn't cruising on all fours yet when I tried them out on her or I'm sure she'd have gotten an abriased, red bum. If you're going to do cloth diapering, you're just going to have to face the fact that you need to a little more work for the benefit of a comfy, happier baby.

I love these these. If reading the reviews please know these are flushable and not meant to be placed in the wash. If you toss them in the toilet they will disintegrate. gDiapers even has a stick to keep by the toilet. They are perfect for when you are out and about. I would rather use the cloth inserts, uses less money. Great buy and great to have on hand. Make sure you know how to use them.

Comments about Down to Earth Designs 1010216 gDiapers gCloth liners -105Ct:

I was a little hesitant to buy these liners because the other reviews were not too flattering, however, they were the only ones I was able to get in-store. I needed them immediately, and also didn't want to spend as much on shipping as a comparable product, plus the product, so I took a chance and got these.

I was very pleasantly surprised! And, I will continue to buy these liners for convenience and performance. Just to address concerns brought up by others, I'd like to mention that it is not reasonable to expect liners to take the place of a potty sprayer--they are two completely different things--and it is not cheaper to keep buying liners than to buy one potty sprayer. (Mine is the best thing ever as far as I am concerned!) And, to comment on the texture of the liner. It is not rough like a paper towel, it is stiff like a dryer sheet is fresh out of the box--if it wasn't it would completely fall apart once wet. It does not seem to bother my daughter whatsoever. She's 18 mo, so she can tell me if her diaper needs a change, etc. I have noticed that it can leave little pieces behind after a very wet diaper, usually only the overnights, which is totally understandable, and the pieces wipe right off with her normal wipes, so I don't see that as a problem.

Now, I will say that I don't use the full "G" diapering system, so I can't comment on how it works as part of the whole. I use regular cloth diapers and only need liners so I can use a diaper rash cream that is not otherwise suitable to use with cloth diapers. Though, there is also the nice benefit that it's easier to clean up diapers when we are not home with the potty sprayer.

Bottom line: these liners work great, aren't too expensive, and are nice and flushable. Do not expect them to take the place of a potty sprayer, or to keep the diaper clean enough to reuse without washing. (What?!) Be realistic, people! :)

(And, what is that mommy thinking that has to "pick them out of the diaper pail" because she can't flush them in the septic system? Why doesn't she separate them out of the laundry while she's changing the diaper? I must be missing something)

I much prefer the bumkins liners to these. The material of gCloth liners is a lot rougher, and the liners aren't as wide so they don't cover as much of the diaper. I found the bumkins liners to be much better at containing the mess, and won't buy these again. With bumkins I could reuse the shell (I use flip diapers shells and inserts) because bumkins would protect the edges of the shell, but the gCloth liners are narrower so the shell always gets dirty and I can never re-use it.

We usually use Grovia liners but they are re-packaging and sold out everywhere so we bought these. These are similar in the fact that they are sturdy and stay dry. These are a little less soft than the Grovia ..not that those are soft but I find the soft ones stay wet and irritate my LO's bottom. These don't irritate him at all. They are sturdy, they work well. BUT they have one drawback big enough to say, I will never buy them again. I have to pick them out of the diaper pail (the wet ones, obviously I flush the poop ones) because they break up into a thousand tiny pieces of lint all over your clothes and house. Seriously annoying. I don't want to touch them, I don't want to have to waste water to flush them, I can't throw them in trash because they stink when wet. So I have to go through the dirty diaper pail before washing my cloth diapers.

I bought these to go in my cloth diapers to help in cleaning up messy diapers. I used them for less than a week and my son had diaper rash really bad. I stopped using them, and the rash is gone. They did the job most of the time, although a little skinny - sometimes the mess ended up on the edges of the diaper and cover. I now have a mostly full box that I can't use because they are scratchy.
