This towel is super cute but after washing it several time, I noticed the the fabric at the corner was starting to come apart. Otherwise, the towel keeps our baby boy dry and warm after his bath.

I just got through washing my first loads of baby things, and despite washing this in the gentle cycle and drying it on low as directed, the stitching holding the towel to the hood has already started to come apart. There's a hole at least an inch wide. Thank goodness I still have the packaging because this will be going back to the store tomorrow.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

After having my first baby, I do most of my shopping online for convenience. If you are like me, don't let the apparent harsh colors of this towel fool you. When I browsed the website, I skipped it entirely because it looks almost neon! In truth, it's a very pleasant lime sherbert color and so soft and adorable in person! At the store I also found a matching "bath cozy" that totally sold me on the set. It's basically an oversized washcloth to cover the baby with and keep them warm while bathing, but it is actually shaped like the chick on the towel's hood. So cute! And even though I got this for my boy, it works perfectly fine for a girl. No comments yet on the quality as I haven't washed or used it, but I have had one of BRU's set of 3 basic towels for over a year now, washed weekly, and they still look like new! I expect the same from this one.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I am due in a month, so I haven't technically been able to use this towel yet, but I can tell you this - it is ADORABLE!! I have looked at a plethora of baby towels, and this blew them all away. I just love the bright, fun colors and the little duck on the hood. It's great for either a boy or a girl. They are soft and washed very well (did not pill or anything). I can't wait to see my little guy in it! Also, the cost was very reasonable.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
