The Philips AVENT bottle was shown to significantly reduce fussing by approximatley 28 minutes a day as compared to the comparator bottle. This was especially true during night-time. The two-piece anti-colic system consists of the AVENT Nipple and adapter ring. As your baby feeds, the unique skirt on the AVENT Nipple flexes to allow air into the bottle instead of your baby's tummy. Like natural breastfeeding your baby controls the milk flow.

I bought these bottles based upon the reviews but, I am not impressed. My biggest complaint is that the rings do not fit well and the bottles leak as a result. Because they leak, they are not easy to travel with. The bottles are bulky and take up a lot of room in my dishwasher. I would not buy these bottles again.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

These bottles are the best and the blue is adorable. THERE ARE ABSOLUTLY NO LEAKS, NOT EVEN A DROPLET! And my son takes in little to no air. I began Avent bottles 4 yrs ago w/my first and loved them then, would not use or recommend anything else. I believe these are the easiest bottles on the market to clean AND put together. These bottles last a very long time. Also, for mother's who are bottle and breatfeeing or pumping, when the child latches on notice that the nipples are the closest to the shape of a women's natural nipple. These bottles are the absolute BEST and I highly recommend.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
