The 4 pack contains about one dollars worth of foam edging. After I carefully applied it, my grandson is cheerfully ripping it off the corners and throwing it around the room. He's 16 months old.

The stuff is useless.

I didn't buy this for child safety purposes since I don't have any kids. My problem was.. I have two desks that are pependicular to one another, forming an L-shape. The problem I had was... my leather chair would sometimes bang into the side desk when I got up or rotated my chair.
Eventually, this caused my chair to have a large hole in the rear/side and me having to replace it. I didn't want the same problem to occur with my new chair so I was looking for something to place on the edge of my secondary desk to cushion my chair hitting it.

I search all the major home improvement stores but none of them had exactly what I was searching for. One store rep suggested I get a piece of foam pipe insulation.. cut a slit in it.. and over the edge of my table with it. I'm all for DIY projects but that would have looked a bit tacky. Then after further searching, I found that there were some "baby safety" items that would work. I headed to my nearest Babies-R-Us location and as soon as I walked in, an pleasant employee asked if I needed help and she brought me to the correct location. I saw a bunch of items I could have used but opted to for this since I only needed to cover about 15" of the table with the foam cover.

Installing it was very easy.. you just peel the paper off the sticky tape and press. Since my table was 1.5" thick, I applied the foam guard upside down, with the longer end covering the sides of the table.. which worked out better for me. I only needed two pieces, so I get to keep the other two as spares in case I need them.

we put these cushions on our brick hearth. they were easy to stick on, and have stayed on very well even with our 9 month old pulling up on them.

My husband and I purchased these foam strips to fit around a glass and metal coffee table made in the 90's that we are currently borrowing. The strips and corners work fine, however, the table is extra long and you only get 4 strips in a box. We would need to order another box so we can cut them down to size to cover the rest of the exposed glass. At almost $10 a box, it would be cheaper for us to purchase a new table. I do like how the product comes in black to match our decor. Overall, good product.
