My Go-To Containers

I have a 18 month old daughter, started making my own food since she was 6 months (lots of work, also came to my senses and supplimented with jarred). Originally got the baby bullet with their containers, but knew I needed many more containers and loved the price point on these. Initially I liked the other containers better because I didn't know the dates (until I used painters tape and a sharpie marker to label), the lids would pop open in freezer if I filled too high..... BUT now I appreicate these containers much more, I prefer them over the other containers I have. I use them for when I have small leftovers for daughters food, I don't use them really in the freezer any more, instead I freeze avocado mash or whatever in Wilton's silicone pop tray, freeze them in my food saver bags, and the size of the pop trays are about 1.5 oz, so they are perfect to drop in these contains to thaw when I need them (the lid closes, perfect size!). I never really use the trays, think they might work well for finger painting, or beads when making jewelry, etc. My lids have NEVER broken off. I LOVE the fact that the lids are connected, THEY STACK INTO EACH OTHER - so terrific on space saving and organization sanity! I fit 3 of them in my munchkin dishwaster baskets no prob. They stack well on themselves when in use, so I'll put 2oz portion applesauce from a warehouse bulk food place and stack them 2 at a time in my refrig for use during the week. I find that there are more pros than cons with these. I'll still freeze food in these, I've had practice having better results. Oh, I even started teaching daughter 'open' and 'close', 'in' and 'out' with these containers, seeing what's in them through the clear plasic, she loved playing with them and learning at same time. I actually wish they had similar concept for larger containers (with attached lids). I also put cheerio snacks or puffs in diaper bag with these containers, very helpful!

I used ice cube trays when I made baby food for my other two children, but I thought this product would be a nice change for baby #3. I was wrong - Ice cube trays covered in plastic wrap are much more user friendly.

    The lids do not stay closed when freezing. I have to tape the lids shut, even when thawing. Sometimes they still pop open on the side and there is frost on the top. I wish I would have bought containers with screw or detached, snap-on lids instead. The best use for these have been for mixing and serving cereal, and LO likes to chew the lid. Maybe I will use them for planting seedlings next spring.

      So I got these because I am making my daughter's food myself. Price was okay but boy I should have checked the online reviews before I bought them!

      I got home yesterday with some fresh veggies to make baby food with since we got a brand new blender yesterday as well. So I cook up all the foods and blend the first batch, only to find out that almost HALF of the little containers will not stay closed.

      Used what I could of the containers but I'll need to find something different to store her baby food in. Won't be getting them from babies r us though, since I quit shopping there because of their ridiculous return policy when I returned something purchased from my registry. Fail yet again babies r u!

        I am surprised to see so many negative reviews. This product does exactly what they are made for. I steam & puree food and store in these containers. Then arrange in trays, fill with pureed food. Once the puree cools down close lids and freeze. To serve I thaw in a small cup of water and serve in a bowl or spoon feed my son directly from the container. I've used it many times and I do notice sometimes after they freeze one will pop open but I just stack them and keeps them shut.

          I bought this item needing to quickly store my 6 mo. olds food. I also bought the labels that are supposed to complement the containers. I wish I would have saved my money. The containers are flimsy and leak. To add to that, after freezing the baby food, the containers stuck to the tray. I had to maneuver the containers from the tray. The labels are not easily removable. They leave a glue residue on the containers too. I have now resorted to OXO TOT.

                    I'll keep this short. The containers won't stay closed. I've had to tape them. The first time I used them 1/2 of the containers wouldn't close and then the mojority of those that did close opened up in the freezer! You have to tape them to keep them shut. Would not recommed this brand at all. Spend the extra and get ones with separate lids.

                      Planned to use this to freeze my homemade baby food and was extremely disappointed. I bought it in the store so wasn't able to read the reviews. The lids are absolutely useless 3 of 16 did not close straight out of the box (no exaggeration ). They are way too thin and crack after only a few freezes. It seems obvious that they are cheap and don't work so why would they keep these on the shelf? Called to complain to toys r us and returned

                          I bought this because I really liked the freezer tray and they seemed like a good size. However, when I got them home and opened the box I was incredibly disappointed. The caps do not snap closed securely. In fact, some of them do not snap closed at all! I am returning them today and will think twice before buying a product made by this company again.

                            While these were a nice price, I got what I paid for. I ended up having to throw away several of the containers because the lid would not snap shut, and the ones that were put in the freezer(and I did not overfill-only put an ounce of pureed food in each)after freezing the lids popped open. I ended up going out and buying a different brand. Very disappointed.

                                Wow what a waste of monet - unfortunately I threw away my receipt before opening and trying out the product. Did not even get to try out the product because as soon as I opened the product it turned out the lids did not close. I guess I should have read the reviews on here before purchasing but I just bought the product in the store. Shocked to see all the reviews in here and that the prouct is still on the shelved.
