We have had no problems and no diaperbag spills with these containers. Yes, they require a firm hand to pop the lid on but once it's on it's on! Not water tight but really great for dry foods. We mainly use these for dinner time. Good portion sizes for the different food groups and the lids pop on for leftovers.

These containers are awful. I started using them to take cereal to daycare for my 6mos old. You have to really be careful to get the lid secure on all sides. It looked like it was on all the way and we ended up with cereal spilled all over in the bag. When you do end up getting them on all the way the lids are very hard to get off. As I was cleaning up the spill at daycare the teachers said they have had a couple moms bring them with all the same issues and the teachers have a hard time with the lids as well. I went out and purchased another brand today.
