The pieces to this set are great to grow with from infant through adult. We will never have to buy a second bedroom set. I'd like to address some of the negative comments on here regarding pieces being discontinued or out of stock. I ran into a similar problem at BabiesRUs and contacted the manufacturer of this set directly to get my information from the "horse's mouth". This set IS NOT discontinued, and neither are any of the parts. It is strictly a BabiesRUs issue with their cataloging system. When an item is out of stock in their warehouse and store the computer lists the item as discontinued. As the manufacturer makes another manufacturing run on a specific piece and sends it to the warehouses it comes back as in stock for special order in the store. So... to order pieces you need to deal strictly with a "SPECIAL ORDER" specialist at the store (not the manager or sales clerk) and it is ordered as a special order from the warehouse. We were able to obtain the full size rails this way. We are waiting for the toddler rails to come back "in stock". The hutch is available now. The nightstands will be available for special order sometime between March and May, 2013 when that production run is delivered to the warehouses. Please just keep checking back with your local store's specialist to place your special orders to complete your set. As I said...this is strictly a BabiesRUs issue with how they keep track of inventory, and their sales people are unaware that pieces will be back on for sale through the special order department. This is a very nice crib. Easy to assemble. However, if you are planning on converting this to a toddler/full bed then DO NOT BUY this one. They are no longer making the conversion kits even thought they are still selling the crib. We have attempted to buy the conversion kits several times and were finally told they will no longer be making them.

The mayfair blackberry double dresser and crib are beautiful. We bought 2 of each for our twin baby girls and are very happy with them. My husband and his brother put the 2 cribs together in about 1.5 hours. No problems. The stickers are on the side of the crib, are small, and barely visible. Follow the other reviewers suggestions when putting together the cribs. It was easy.

First time parents and we were very picky when choosing our bedroom set for our little one. This is the perfect fit, very elegant and cute. alsowill be great when he gets older too! Very easy to assemble my husband did it all on his own. You can tell the whole set was very well made.

I was a little nervous purchasing this crib after reading all the reviews, but I'm glad I went with my gut. The crib is sturdy and beautiful. I didn't have any issues with stickers and/or holes not matching up -- nor scratches on the furniture.

Ok. I like most neurotic soon-to-be mom's fell in love with this product and went straight to the reviews to see what other people had to say. You know, just to make sure there weren't any major issues with this product. I was very concerned after reading some of the reviews -- almost to the point of returning my purchase. But decided to stick with it. And I'm so glad I did.

The crib is beautiful, sturdy and a solid piece of furniture -- as well as the matching pieces. It took my husband and I (I'm about 36 weeks pregnant) about 1 hour to put together. We didn't have any issues with stickers and/or holes not matching up -- nor scratches on the furniture.

For anyone that has difficulty assembling pieces of furniture, I would recommend reading all the directions one time and organizing all your necessities before you actually start putting items together just to make sure you have everything you need.

Also, we got a great deal on this set so anyone that is price conscious make sure you wait for a good sale or at least have a coupon. It's so worth it!

After looking at what seemed like a hundred different cribs my husband and I finally settled on the Mayfair and let me tell you it did not disappoint! It was easy to assemble (my husband and I put it together in a little over an hour) and the craftsmanship was beyond our expectations. There were no blemishes or scratches to be found. We listened to the reviews and didn't tighten anything until each section was fully put together and there were no issues with holes not lining up. We also purchased the conversion kit in case they discontinue the style in the years to come. Just keep in mind how huge the box is if you purchase or do store pick up (mind you it was perfectly packaged and not a dent on the box)- it was so wide that it wouldn't fit in either of our SUV's and had to ask a coworker who had a truck help deliver it to our house.

this crib was 40% off so we went with it. It is a beautiful crib, we had no problems putting it together, as long as you put the pieces the direction they are suppose to go in. people have commented on stickers, there are stickers on the inside area hidden by the mattress and are 2 safety stickers on the outer sides of each side of the crib which easily peeled off. there are comments about an area not being stained/painted, well this is the bottom part of the front rail (the side facing the floor) so you dont see it at all when the crib is assembled. i think its a beautiful set overall. apply for a BRU credit card and you can get an extra 10% off too.

This crib & dresser is exactly what we wanted. My husband had no problem putting it together BUT is was delivered with scratches & would not buy any major purchase such as this again from Babies r us!!!
Note: if purchasing because of the convertibility the crib doesn't come with the parts to convert it to a bed and Babies R Us doesn't sell them!!!!
