I love this crib, my mother bought this as a gift to me and my husband for our new daughter. It was extremely easy to put together and is very sturdy and made with great quality. It is more of a cream color than a white but looks beautiful in the nursery. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of my experience with Babies r us. Since they are discontinuing this crib (which they didnt tell us at time of purchase) I was given a hard time trying to special order the toddler rail and the other pieces for the converstion to the full bed. I was told I had to order the parts within the year and if they could get them in, no guarantee, it would take 3-4months for them to come in. I even called the company trying to get them sooner but the company doesnt sell the parts and deals exclusively with Babies R Us. So if you just want a beautiful crib and dont care about converting it to a toddler bed or full bed then I would say get it, if not look for another crib!

We ordered the crib and tall dresser last fall for our baby girl, it is beautiful and looks great in her room. The original dresser came faulty from the manufacturer so we did have to load that back up and return for another one that was ordered for us. Both pieces are great and have a nice rich ivory/antique color to them.

We did purchase the toddler rail shortly after our crib purchase and were just informed that the rails are now available again since they were back ordered. I was informed that this color is being discontinued for the dressers and crib and that the rails will be available for approx 1 year after discontinue date so you may want to check into this immediately if wanting to order the conversion pieces.

My husband assembled by himself and we had no problems with a mattress fitting like a previous reviewer posted..

We love this set and couldn't imagine anything else looking better in the nursery!

We bought these cribs for my daughters twins which we are expecting in June/July. We were so happy with them they are beautiful, the color oyster shell is perfect for the room. I actually dont have anything bad to say about them, the look perfect, they will look better when the babies are in them. The one thing I will say is that we wanted to purchase these Cribs at Babies R Us and they wouldnt even let us order them but I saw them online and I purchased them from there and had them in my house within 1 week. I dont understand why you cant get that service from the store itself, they still have not called me to tell me that they could order the cribs, she said it would take 7 to 8 weeks, I have the cribs already. something isnt right there. But we love the cribs very happy.

My husband assembled the furniture and didn't complain. We have the crib and the two dressers. This ensemble is absolutely beautiful! We are both loving it and cannot wait to enjoy this for years to come with our daughter. I had no issues ordering the entire kit. Great purchase!

I absolutely loved the crib. Very solid and easy to put together. It also has an antique finish that fit our farmhouse perfectly. HOWEVER they do not sell the conversion kit for this crib. I even contacted the manufacturer who said the kit was on back order until the end of December. It is now the end of February! When asked if they could guarantee that the conversion kit would be available at a later date this is the response i received
"The toddler guard and bed rails for the Mayfair crib in Oyster shell are both on back order. These are estimated to be available at the end of December, however, please be advised that this not confirmed and is subject to change."
So in short if you are looking for a conversion kit don't spend the extra $$ on this crib!!!

The crib arrived very promptly after I ordered it at our local BRU. Only problem, is it had two left legs. Called the manufacturer and they supposedly sent out a right leg, but we're still waiting... The color and craftsmanship are absolutely gorgeous, which is one of the reasons I'm hesitant to just return the whole thing and pick a different crib. The color is truly unique- ivory with a brown glaze, making it look antique.
The other MAJOR problem is, that we can't order the double dresser. We were told it was just temporarily out of stock, not we're being told it could be up to 6 months! With our daughter due in less than a month, not what we want to hear.

I fell in love at first site with this crib. It looks beautiful in our home. It's sturdy and looks almost vintage. Our mattress fit fine, we still had room on the sides, after the mattress pad and sheet it fit perfectly into the crib. I am extremely happy with this crib, looking forward to using it as a toddler bed.

When you first get the crib there is a 'new smell', we got the crib 3 months before baby was due, after a month the smell completely faded.

If you like a product that looks nice, but you cannot use, then go ahead and buy it!!!

We really liked the crib, but the problem is that we have bought a couple of mattresses and they don't fit in the crib due to the faulty design on the crib.

Even if you squeeze the mattress in, forget about getting any mattress pads or sheets in.

Now we are stuck with a faulty crib, and I do not have the energy to take it apart, pack it up and try returning it!!!!!

STAY AWAY.

I LOVE THIS CRIB! I also ordered the changing table size dresser. It is perfect! I wanted something in an antique white not bright white! I also wanted something that looked classic and feel I got it with this collection! It matches my daughter's room perfect! Now it is just waiting for her to be born and sleeping in it!

I just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I purchased this crib, the 2 matching dressers and the matching hutch. Only 2 of the pieces had to be assembled, the crib and hutch. The assembly was not hard at all but you absolutely need 2 people just because the furniture is heavy and it is impossible for one person to hold pieces steady while trying to tighten screws. This set is so well made, its such great quality i couldn't be happier. The distressed/worn look and the bone coloring makes the whole style of the nursery. i bought the toddler bed and the full size bed conversion kits for this set so my daughter can enjoy the beauty of this set for years! I would definitely recommend this set to everyone!
